Today I feel Meh

language | rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills | shoe shopping in Paris

I had a friend who used the word 'meh' a lot, and i seriously thought it was just her. She would use it to describe a sort of blah, not good not bad, nothing really happening kind of day. It would go like this:

Be Careful when Falling In Love Online

brooklyn nursing home | online relationships

I admit it, I had an internet romance. I was particularly vulnerable at the time, things with my partner were really rocky, and I was feeling unappreciated and undervalued, and, well, unloved.

So when I started chatting with a man online who was attentive, who complimented me often, and reminded me how much better I deserved, I got very emotionally involved very rapidly.

When Your Nose Job Goes Wrong

Nose Job | plastic surgeon | rhinoplasty

My eternal search for what I can do for my son's nose has brought me to an interesting site for a surgeon who actually goes in and revised work done bb other surgeons. I guess that I am not the only one who has questioned whether we are having the best work done.

To Smear or Not To Smear

Applebees | search engine optimization | smear campaigns

I recently read a blog about how an Applebees location treated a family of a young child with Autism. The boy was really, really hungry, and was making non-verbal sounds, so the manager asked them to leave. To make matters worse, the restaurant had delayed serving this family, and served other customers first. So here was this boy, extremely hungry, watching food walk by him, and he got understandably upset. Being non-verbal, he did the only thing he could, make noise.

Rebecca Wins Canada's Next Top Model

Canada's Next Top Model | chin implants | plastic surgery | reality television

I have a secret addiction – reality television. It started one night several years ago, when nothing else was on, and I watched Survivor. Then, someone recommended Americas Next Top Model to me, not for the modelling, but for the interactions between the contestants. I think that was about when the addiction began.

My Joke Site (Did You Know?)

comic relief | humour | jokes

This is cross posted on my Blogger page.

Yes. It's true, I co-own a joke site. Who would have thought right?

So here's the thing: I need more jokes on my site. A couple of my friends have been forwarding me their jokes, and that helps, but I really need people to actually join as members and add their jokes to the site. Maybe even send a joke to your friends by sending them a link to the site.

Say What?

OK this is getting out of hand, this flagging and deleting bit.

My post inviting people to participate in a survey about Paris Hilton and possible win a Visa gift card is gone. Poof.

Ridiculous, really. It wasn't offensive, and it wasn't SPAM. No one sent anyone any unsolicited emails whatsoever.

Free Godiva Chocolate *droool*

chocolate | Free Stuff | freebies | UCLA

I have been a chocoholic for as long as I can remember. What I find is, as I age, I prefer really good chocolate (as opposed to when I was a kid and would scarf any thing claiming to be chocolate).

A long time ago...

checking | nice guys | online banking

...in a city far away, I was once crying on a street curb at three in the morning. I had just walked in on a conversation between my boyfriend and another woman that left no doubt in my mind what was going on between them. I had nowhere to go, as the buses back to my university dorm had stopped running, and wouldn't start again until 6 am, but I knew I couldn't stay at his place. So I ran outside. And I sat and I cried.

Whats up with this? Some sort of conspiracy, perhaps?

I am at a loss for words, literally.

Anyone have any answers for me?
