I recently read a blog about how an Applebees location treated a family of a young child with Autism. The boy was really, really hungry, and was making non-verbal sounds, so the manager asked them to leave. To make matters worse, the restaurant had delayed serving this family, and served other customers first. So here was this boy, extremely hungry, watching food walk by him, and he got understandably upset. Being non-verbal, he did the only thing he could, make noise.

I have a secret addiction – reality television. It started one night several years ago, when nothing else was on, and I watched Survivor. Then, someone recommended Americas Next Top Model to me, not for the modelling, but for the interactions between the contestants. I think that was about when the addiction began.

Yes. It's true, I co-own a joke site. Who would have thought right?

So here's the thing: I need more jokes on my site. A couple of my friends have been forwarding me their jokes, and that helps, but I really need people to actually join as members and add their jokes to the site. Maybe even send a joke to your friends by sending them a link to the site.

...in a city far away, I was once crying on a street curb at three in the morning. I had just walked in on a conversation between my boyfriend and another woman that left no doubt in my mind what was going on between them. I had nowhere to go, as the buses back to my university dorm had stopped running, and wouldn't start again until 6 am, but I knew I couldn't stay at his place. So I ran outside. You may already know, my son has a bilateral cleft lip and palate. He is 9, and has had (to date) 10 surgeries. These are a combination of major and minor surgeries, randing from ear tubes to full lip revision and nose revisions.
