An Idaho man believing his hand bore the 'mark of the beast' amputated the appendage with a circular saw and cooked it in his microwave Saturday before calling 911 the Associated Press reports.

Local authorities said the man was in his mid-20s and put a tourniquet on his arm before cutting off his hand so he didn't bleed to death.

Current research suggests that everything from the size of your plates to the color of your curtains can have an affect on what you put in your mouth.

I always knew that color affected mood, you won’t ever find a hospital wall painted orange, pale blue and green are doctors’ colors of choice (they have a calming affect on the human psyche). What I didn’t know was that surrounding yourself with blue and green is also a great way to suppress your appetite whereas colors like red and orange can actually stimulate it.

Crowds are flocking to a Marathon Gas Station in Parma, Ohio (just outside of Cleavland) hoping to get a glimpse of a real life ghost.

Late Sunday night, a blue orb-like image was caught on the gas station's surveillance camera, bobbing in and out of sight for over half and hour and at one point even appearing to land on a customer.
