Wherever you are in the world today, there are a lot of people worried about their mortgages – and there are a lot of people concerned about providing the right mortgage to the right person. Getting the wrong mortgage can get you into debt and give you a nasty shock at the end of the term. Take interest only mortgages, for example. If you don't pay interest, then you have a heck of a lot to repay at the end and you will need a way to do it. And even an ARM can cost a bomb if you don't get the right deal.

I have to say that my external hard drive is one of the most useful things I have ever purchased. I use it to back up my data daily or weekly and I know that if my laptop ever fails I'll be able to switch to another PC and carry on working.

Keep those people working. That's got to be part of the goal of corporate performance management. The question is, are you a carrot person or a stick person.
