HI BLOGGERS AT BLOGGERPARTY!!!!

best | bloggers | crazy | forever | friends | love | missed | unthinkable

Hello again, its been a while!!! I hope and pray all is well with my friends here at Bloggerparty. I wish I could say that only great and wonderful things have been going on for me, and that I won the lottery!! But that is so not true! Things for me are horrible. I went back to read my last bloggs and I can't even say I am there still. Can I first say that it is really good to be able to come back here to you guys, and vent. Even be a big pile of self pity and have the worst luck ever, and you guys are still here. I can only say secondaly, that had I not had MBFF and she knows who she is, I would not even be sitting here right now. She has saved me once again, and kept me from doing the unthinkable and for that I will, again, be forever grateful.

WAR is it ever really over?

america | Iraq | Jefferson | memories | plus sized swimwear | presidents | soldiers | war

I know this is a touchy subject to America. For all the Americans who remember 9-11-2001, this is a post for you, and for those who remember 9-11-2001 but seem to have forgotten what it meant...

Let me first say that I know we are losing lives everyday in the war against terrorism. It is one of THE hardest things to accept. I have to keep reminding myself that all the soldiers fighting at this very moment, went there voluntarily... That is what sets them above all of us that don't.

Breast Surgery on Friday the 23rd of February

Cancer | nausea | Night Ranger | pain | rest | surgery

I have had a excisional biopsy on Friday the 23rd of February. I was in alot of pain when I got home. I am still not good today either. I am hurting everywhere and can't for the life of me figure out why. I don't remember being like this with all my other surgerys. It is so weird the places that hurt me. My throat for one thing, I know they stuck the ventilator in, but my gosh, it is killing me. My ribs and sides, they are killing me too, almost like the machine that was breathing for me was taking huge breaths!! Seriously it hurst like nothing I have experienced before. It makes me wonder just what do they do to people when they are knocked out and basically dead to the world? I wonder if they threw me in front of a Mack Truck!!! I have had a lot of help from my roomate with taking care of Prissi for me. I am so thankful for that... Why would my arms hurt?? I mean really my ARMS!!! It is horrible. And yes I do have pain pills, but with the stupid slow bowel issue I have I can't take them as I should to help me. So I just have to hurt most of the time...I ask for prayers from you guys. And also that there is no cancer as well...

NASCAR and DEI

corporations | death | empire | family | firefox | Introduce | loss | NASCAR | vinegar

Dale Jr is really getting me concerned regarding his recent venture. I can not for the life of me understand his motive. I know that he wants to continue in the work his father started, however being a owner/driver is to much for one person to do. I have to wonder if he is determined by greed, prestigue, or fame. Which all comes from his fathers ideas. I can see how Jr would want to have control of DEI and why, but I dont see him being successful at it both at the same time. I remember the day his father laost his life. He was doing so for his Corporation, and to let one of his cars win the Daytona 500. It cost him his life. Keeping everyone away from Jr and Michael Waltrip was not only a good driver, but also he was thinking of DEI the corporation. He lost his life for the cause. I know that Jr is still wanting to be a driver, it's in his blood. I just wish he would do one or the other. It is too hard to be both at the same time. Get the driving out of his system and then own and operate DEI. I think if he decided to stop driving it would be a big fan let down. He is America's driver, and that is saying a lot for him and Dale Sr. I can even understand his desire to be more then just a driver. But he already is so much more then just a driver to America, is that not enough for him? To take DEI to the next level will require a lot more hard work, harder even then being a driver and so much more worries.. I just think he is a valuable driver for DEI and when he is ready to stop driving then he can give 100% to bing owner\operator and CEO of DEI. I think by that time Theresa will see the good for DEI and for Dale Sr. and also Dale Jr. So at this point all I can do is pray to God for Dale Jr. to know that he has time to do all he wants and more, its is just timing, everything is timing...

Second appt with Dr Adoue

growth | PERFECTION | puppy | tea

We had our 2nd vet appt on the 15th of Feburary. Again Dr Adoue gave her a very through exam. Listening to her heart and lungs, checked the poop for worms, examed the eyes in the light and in the dark. We got our first puppy shot and yes Prissi did cry and so did her momma. She stopped before I did though. She is the epitome of the perfect pup!! Again Dr Adoue was very, very pleased and will see her again in 3 weeks for more of those awful shots!!! I can not express to you the simple joy I receive from her every single day. The teething part is not so good!! But really and truly, had I not gotten her when I did, I don't think I would be able to be here writing this today. For those of you who have read my previous blogs knows the story, for those who haven't I lost my dog on Dec 20, 2006 and this new puppy I have was born on Dec 20, 2006. So you could say that I took it has a sign that I was suppose to get one ofthe pups. I in fact picked her out when she was just 11 days old. When it was time for me to go and get her, she was the runt of the litter to say the least. She is still smaller now then her siblings were at 6 weeks. She is a miniture doxie, and I beleive she was heaven sent...

The puppy abuse in Atlanta

acts of evil | counseling | evil doing | evilish humor | forgiveness | prisons | Warning: **Spoilers!** If you haven’t read the book

If any of you have read AOL news today you may have seen this already, for those who haven't get some tissues..

The teenaged boys who have abused a puppy are sentanced to 10 years in prison. I have to tell you that when I saw the article, I really didn't want to read it. However being the advocate that I am I had to. It is completely beside me how this could happen, what is wrong with the kids today? I know it is not ALL kids and for that I am very thankful... Why is it that people want to play the race card when bad things like this happens??

Disgraced Minister or Drug Induced Sins?

Colorado | quiche | St Malo | UEA | vacation.holiday | yacht

I must admit that this topic is disturbing to me, however I feel I must speak out say what I feel and know I am only One Voice..

Ted Haggard, reverand of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs Co. is only a human. I know that he is suppose to be a figure of God, and be Christ like. Aren't we all to be that way??

All the men and women that are in Ministry are the devil's most sought after souls. Just in my lifetime alone I have seen many preachers of the word fall far from grace. It has happened long before our time, and I am sure will happen long after we all are gone. The thing is,,, he, just like the many before him are forgiven. That is the wonderful forgiveness of our Heavenly Father. I feel that some people put the ministry above sin, which we all know is wrong. WE ALL sin and fall short of the glory of God. But Jesus made it right for us in God's eyes. So no matter what happens to us, or what choices we make, when we humble ourselves and cry out for forgiveness we ALL will receive it. It will be forgiven and God will never hold us accountable for it. It just disappears.

Simple acts of kindness

cross-border | Dallas | diamonds | Kindness | New York | texas | treatment | United93

The simple acts of kindness are simply God's way of opening peoples eyes. The New York taxi driver returning all the diamond rings, to me, speaks volumes..
Can you imagine finding diamonds?? Can you see yourself giving them back?? The poll I took on AOL this morning shows that 70% of the polled would return them. The lady from my home state and only 15 miles from me in Dallas, just tipped him .30 cents!! To me that is not like Texans, we are very generous to say the least. So the 100.00$ she gave him for returning the jewelry was not a tip, but reward for the return of her diamonds. I believe Osman Chowdhury did this not for what he would get out of it, he did so because it was the right thing to do.. I applauded you Osman, and showing the world that New York taxi drivers are not what we perceive them to be. You and drivers like you are seldom heard about. I wanted to give you credit where it was due...

Jonathan Schulze,,,Dead Marine from Suicide. Victim of war.

appreciate | congress | Darfur | Iraq | life | Sudan | WARS

The war in Iraq I believe is the right thing to do. I of all people will never forget 9-11-2001. That is the only reason we are there. It is my belief however, that our troops both there and here at home should be given the utmost care for injuries both physical and emotional. We have lost so many men and women for this cause, and it is really hard.. What is harder is when they come home to be with the family and friends they left and not get care they desperately need... How can we let this happen? How do people of the medical profession not read the signs and help even when our troops don't know they need it???

Samkon,,,
Oh my goodness......
I have truly, truly been touched by this man and what he has done...

The Houston Texans RB is just what America needs to hear and see all the time. Just to know that where he came from at the age of only 9, is a miracle in its self. I am so very amazed at the true passion of the men of the NFL....They are all heros in some form, to so many...
They know of the ways to give back to their community and countries, and just all of it is very, humbling to those of the need....

Superbowl and the Sensational ness

bears | Chicago | consolidate | Dreams | I.T | Indiana | money

BIG DAY today!!!

The 41st Superbowl in Miami Florida....

Have you ever wondered about the amount of money spent on this day?? I have no statistic to look at and compare, but I would think it is a whole lot more then at Christmas time. Does the money all go to the men of the NFL? Meaning owners and players and just all of them?
I know that a lot of the players themselves have their Charities of choice and do in fact donate a lot of time and money. But I can't help but think of how many people are without the basic necessities. Just of recent, the tornado that ripped threw the center of Florida.. People homeless, no clothes, and no family for those who lost them. I know that the government is the responsibility party for this specifically FEMA, which is headquartered just 15 miles north of me as I sit. The people that have just showed up, no place to park, no food to eat, using their time and energy to lend a helping hand. Of all days, Superbowl Sunday!!! That people, to me is worth so much, it is almost uncomprehindable. Unimaginable, un heard of!!!!

Hall of Fame,, Michael Irvin

I must tell you that being a girl in Texas growing up, I loved my cowboys. I began watching in the Roger Staubach era, not really understanding the game. All I know is my family, mostly uncles and some cousins would root them on and so did I.

Being an adult woman in North Texas, I still have a deep love for the Dallas Cowboys. I may have not like the coaches or the Owner sometimes, but deep in my heart I always, always loved the boys... I must admit I could have been described as a fair weather fan sometimes too. Meaning if they were doing good I was rooting for them, if not well, you know I didn't.
