Another Paid Blogging Opportunity! Not Adsense!

This new paid-to-blog opportunity is a little different from here. You get paid one dollar per day for a post that's at least 100 words long. You can post more often if you want. (ETA: You only get paid for 1 post per day, so don't knock yourself out thinking you can rake in the dough!) They also pay $2 per thousand unique pageviews, so if your blog is popular, it's worth even more.

Humane Rodent Control? Hope this works!

When you live near a river, rats can be an issue. I can hear them upstairs in the unfinished attic area of my apartment, rats knawing and sqeaking. There's even an occasional rodent turf war, from the sound of things. I want them gone, and now!

What Kind of 1930's Spouse Are You?

Times are tight. They were also tough back in the '30s. If you were a husband or wife during that time, how would you do?

I scored as Superior. Not sure how great that is lol.

Promote Your Blog RSS Feed In Seconds For Free!

Get more people to read your stuff by submitting your rss feed to free sites. It takes seconds per site, you only need to do it once per site, and the price is right.

The stuff I promote does get more hits, so I'm gonna submit my rss feed from this site, too. As long as it's on my mind, I thought I'd encourage you to do the same for your blogs.

Another MLM Time Waster? Sign Me Up!

If it's free and says I can earn money online, I'm a sucker every time. I've read tons of junk emails, taken a zillion surveys, and get paid to hang out social networking sites like Yuwie and now, Zenzuu.

Crush or Flush? Your call.

Here’s something for the singles out there.

Have you ever had problems with online dating sites? Like the creepy guy/gal that gets your phone number and wears it out, or pesters you when you have no interest in them at all? There’s a site that’s taken steps to eliminate those irritations. It’s called … crushorflush lol.

Political Scandal Crib Sheet

For the state of Louisiana, anyway.
We have: prostitutes, call-girls (a higher paid prostitute?), stealing, bribery, discrimination suits, resignations, and good ol' public dislike.

I left off one big scandal, because it was the same mens room stuff an Ohio official got busted for earlier this year. If you're going to do kinky illegal stuff, politicians, at least be original.

Blech! Celeb Endorsements for 2008 Presidential Election.

Will you let a celebrity endorsement sway your vote in the upcoming presidential election? Do you give a fiddler's fart who certain celebrities vote for? If so, you'll be offended by the rest of this post, so go back to your regularly scheduled programming.

The Latest Britney B.S., & She'll Get Away With It, Watch

Yesterday, she missed a deposition because she was 'sick'. This morning at 2 A.M., she was taped driving around. WTH?

Don't worry. The court date was to settle some unimportant items like child custody issues.

Jamie Oliver, the Naked Chef, Returns 'Home' to Food Network

Remember the Naked Chef show? He's back, with a new show that features quick cooking from the ground up. Literally.

In a half hour show, Jamie Oliver will ransack his garden for ingredients and prepare a meal. I don't normally care for cooking shows, but I enjoy watching this guy. He's got an incredible amount of energy. It's like watching a cooking pinball.

Um, We're Not Underwater, You Guys

News Flash:
New Orleans is NOT still flooded. People live here. Shops are open. Our water is drinkable (missing fluoride, but that's another rant lol). There are not packs of feral animals roaming the streets. I Am Legend was not shot on location here.

How do you Promote Your Content?

I just spent what felt like an eternity promoting my writing. Will it pay off in page views? Guess I'll have to wait and see.

The method I chose to try was to submit my rss feed url to a bunch of directories. This seemed easier and less time consuming than writing blogs about each article I've written. Every now and then, I'll still post about something here and on my other blogs, but a feed is way quicker.
