Outsourcing...stop the whining

Has America really come to this? We take actions that any history student would say is ludicrous. We cater to our own personal creature comforts at the expense of millions of other people’s livelihoods. And then, we cry “boo hoo” when someone in another country takes over doing a job function that we wouldn’t allow here because it infringed on our privacy. Good Grief!

Public Transportation in the Third World

Kidney Stones........what else is there to say?

I think I can definitely say that by now, I know from kidney stones. I have been “under attack? for the last week. Any of you who have suffered from this can empathize with me I am sure.

After years of pain, a lot of research, and trail and error, I might have some tips for those of you suffering from this nonlethal natural form of torture.

FORECLOSURE......is it legal?

I opened my mail yesterday and found a very interesting piece. It seems that a law firm who had foreclosed on an investment property I owned has been sued in a class action for illegal practices.

Holy smokes, Martha, lawyers doing something not legal? Can that really be so? Why would they do it? The answer can be found on any given week day down at your local court house. Stand around there some day and watch as the “processors? for the law firms walk in with their arms full of foreclosure papers. Each file, a person’s life being flushed down the system’s toilet by a banking institution and a lawyer.

A driving age limit?

I was tooling on down the road the other day, minding my own business, when it occurred to me that there was a car in my lane coming straight toward me. At first I thought it was just in my lane to pass some obstruction up ahead of me, but watching it for a moment, I realized that the driver wasn’t aware that she was doing anything abnormal. Not wanting the play “chicken? I moved to the next lane, and watched this woman’s face as she passed me. She stayed in my lane going full speed as far as I could follow her in my mirror. There was no expression on her face.
