Line Rider: The new "It" Christmas game...

OK, remember Elf Bowling a few years back? If not, it was a really lame but extremely amusing Flash game that was out during the Christmas season a few years ago. I can't remember there being a good online waste of time for the holiday season that stood up to Elf Bowling in the past few years, but I am happy to announce that such a game exists this year.

This magical waste of holiday time is called Line Rider, and is located at LineRider.com. Basically, you draw lines with your mouse that a little man wearing a scarf rides down on a sled. You can do all kinds of cool things like jumps, flips, loops, whatever. It's one of those games that simple but addictive.

Hey Dennis Prager, how about being a little more offensive?

Dennis Prager, in a recent dipshit story on townhall.com, expresses outrage that Keith Ellison will take his Congressional oath on the Koran and not the Bible as has been tradition in the past. In possibly the most ignorant and intolerant statement of tthis century, Prager states:

Brief Album Reviews: AFI DECEMBERUNDERGROUND

AFI DECEMBERUNDERGROUND album cover

AFI's latest release, DECEMBERUNDERGROUND, is arguably their best effort yet. I just picked it up yesterday, and have listened to it two and a half times so far. I am extremely happy with the album, and there aren't any tracks yet that I find myself skipping.

AFI has gone from a pretty pure punk band with goth sensibilities to a truly dynamic punk/rock band with some elements of electronica thrown in for good measure. This is the first album where their electronic tendencies have really come alive, and it works beautifully. They definitely had some electronica elements in the past, but on DECEMBERUNDERGROUND they have given the electronica elements a life of their own, and made the an essential part of this album.

Brief Album Reviews: The Introduction

I would like to announce a soon-to-be ongoing series I have decided to create of brief album reviews. Not that the concept needs much explanation, but what I'm going to do is post the album artwork, some info about the band, and some brief thoughts about the album. Some albums may be old, some may be new, some may suck, and some may be great. I'll try to dig into the vault and share some old favorites as well as talk about some new stuff too.

Alex Jones: Commentary before a Terrorstorm screening

Here's a video on Google from a recent screening of Alex Jones' "Terrorstorm." Alex Jones and Pastor Davidson Loehr both speak about modern day events in the framework of the JFK assassination, reminding us that just because the "Democrats" won, we can't just take a back seat and think that everything is just going to be magically fixed. Those of us fighting for what is right, and for real change in our governmental leadership, have to keep up the good fight and not be fooled back into complacency. Take a look, and while you're at it watch "Terrorstorm" too.

How to get the most out of your timeshare membership

Fairfield Resorts started in 1966 as a single location in Arkansas, and now represents a vast network of timeshares throughout the United States. Rather than starting as a timeshare company, Fairfield began as a land development company selling subdivided lots, whole ownership condos and custom-built homes in large master-planned communities such as Fairfield Bay, Fairfield Sapphire Valley and Fairfield Glade. They still maintain this part of their company, but in 1979, they began selling "FairShare," a timeshare exchange product. Through FairShare, owners had a deeded interest in a specific location for a specific time each year, but could also trade their interest for international vacation locations.

Commentary on the UCLA Powell Library incident.

The tasering of a student at UCLA's Powell Library on November 14th, 2006, is unfortunately just one example of how out of control police powers are in the United States today.

Allegedly, the incident began when the student refused to show his student ID after 11:00PM. This is a longstanding campus policy which is posted in the library. Upon refusing to show his ID, the student was told to leave. At some point a tragic bit of miscommunication occured, and the student ended up being dragged out of the library by the police and being tasered multiple times over a seven minute period.

Resources for research into the tazer incident at UCLA's Powell Library.

If you live in Southern California, or even in the rest of the world, you may have heard about the incident last week at UCLA's Powell Library. You may have even seen video of the incident on YouTube.

Late night on November 14th, a student in Powell Library on the UCLA campus refused to show his ID. This is a posted campus policy. Apparently something happened between the police and the student, miscommunication ensued, and the student was shocked with a tazer multiple times over seven minutes.

Fulfilling your online orders the easy way.

If you are an Internet retailer, your best course of action for making your business successful is to focus on the things you need to do to run your business. Coordinating the storage, shipping, packing, and tracking of packages sent to your customers is not one of the things you should need to do, and in fact it frequently takes away valuable time that you could be using to expand your business and market your products.

A Democrat says reinstate the draft? WTF?

Today, Rep. Charles Rangel, a Democrat from New York, stated that he will introduce legislation to reinstate the draft in the United States. He says that because of increased threats and possible action against Iran and North Korea, combined with the way our occupation of Iraq is taxing our human resources, a draft will be absolutely necessary to our success.

Representative Rengel stated that he is certain that the decision to invade Iraq would not have been as hasty, and would not have been allowed based on such "flimsy evidence" if there were already a draft, and members of congress knew that young people in their districts would have been placed in harm's way. I can kind of see his point, but it's a little late. That is irrelevant now, and a reinstated draft would only serve to put more young people in harm's way.

Declassification of military secrets and its implications in the bigger picture.

The United States Air Force has just declassified a top secret program that ran from 1977-1988. The program was a training program where Air Force fighter pilots would train in combat against actual Russian MiG aircraft in an effort to give them real world experience in dogfighting with the Russian aircraft. This program has been a closely guarded secret for almost thirty years. Not only that, this secret program was kept classified for almost twenty years after it was no longer active.
