This post is somewhat in response to Sassy's post about the economy, but I'm going to go off on a tangent here, so I thought it would be best to do my own post. Cheers to Sassys for inspiring the thought.

I need some help testing a site. I'm looking for about five people to start with. PM me if you're interested.
I want you guys to check for errors, but also to give me feedback on it. Tell me what you like and what you hate. That includes colors, fonts, features, etc. I think I'm going to simply give you the address and let you figure it out, because if it's not user friendly, I need to know that as well.

Proving once again that they have no soul, Republicans have voted against mothers. Or, more specifically, against Mother's Day.
On Thursday, there was a vote to recognize and honor mothers. They originally voted 412-0 in favor of House Resolution 1113. But then, Rep. Todd Tiahrt asked for them to "reconsider" the vote. Rep. Kathy Castor moved to table the request. This led to a revote, at which time, 178 Republicans voted "nay".

I was read a post at Shoemoney that talked about the ten worst mistakes he ever made. He thought it was important to list your failures, as well as your successes. I'm all for the concept, so here's my list as well. It won't necessarily be limited to ten.
Tell me how this is fair.

I finally decided to get serious about losing weight. I've been eating nothing but boneless, skinless chicken breasts, steamed veggies, and brown rice, and drinking nothing but coffee and water. I've also been doing about an hour of exercise a night. And my weight has stayed the same. WTF??
Any good thoughts would be appreciated.

I found out a few days ago that a friend of mine has been diagnosed with a Stage 4 malignant brain tumor. Needless to say, that's just about the worst thing on the entire planet that you could be diagnosed with. If you're the praying sort, I'm sure she could use the thoughts.

This video was obviously made by someone who had way too much free time on their hands. It seems like something you'd see on The Onion- clever, dry, somewhat twisted... BTW, kiddie warning. It gets a little gory.

I had a weird dream last night. I'm usually pretty good at picking it apart and figuring out what they mean, even while I'm still having the dream. But this one has me completely stumped.
I was on a school bus with a bunch of other adults. It was a typical yellow school bus, so I thought it was strange that there were no kids. All of the adults on there had some belongings with them and were dressed in multiple layers, as if they were fleeing from something. There was this *thing* leading the bus. It was sort of humanoid, but it wasn't human. It had yellow fur, about 2 inches long, and it was covered in that from head to toe. Except on its face. It was a little shorter fur there. It's face was supposed to be kind looking, as if it was a Sesame Street monster, but it wasn't kind. One look at it, and you could tell that it was not going to mess around.

I found a site called Qassia. This site has an interesting business model. Here is their description from their site, "Qassia is a site to which you can add your websites. You can also add your knowledge, in the form of tidbits of information called "intel". The more intel you add, the better your sites will rank, the more backlinks you get, and the more money you make. Qassia is 100 percent free, and does not require reciprocal links. You can get unlimited quality backlinks to your websites from Qassia."
Go Ahead. Comment.

Typically, a blogger wants people to read what they have to say. And that's the case today, as well. But more than that, I want you to take it to heart. If you don't like what I have to say, I'm probably talking about you.
