CSI actor charged with drug offences...

Actor Gary Dourdan, who plays a forensics investigator on the hit TV show CSI: Crime Scene, has been charged with possession of heroin, cocaine and ectasy. The charges arose from his arrest on April 28 2008 in the desert city of Palm Springs.

I have a simple philosophy regarding telephones,callers and calls, including mobile or cell phones too.

I don't own a cell phone - no I don't friends. I'm not a slave to the new phenomenon of cell phones. You will not see me hunched over texting on a cell phone, period.

A beige coloured penguin was taunted and ostracised by its fellows down in Antarctica.

Scientists down there in Antarctica were trying to come up with ideas to help the unfortunate penguin - perhaps dye it black and white or something else.

The much publicised giant 'colossal' squid has been thawed in New Zealand museum...

New Zealand marine scientists have completed the thawing process and have begun to analyse the colossal squid that was caught in the depths of the Ross Sea waters of Antarctica, and was donated to the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. It has been kept deep frozen for a year.

I posted about ANZAC Day down under a few weeks ago, when we honour our fallen heroes from all wars on April 25 every year.

In Returned Services Association clubs in New Zealand, and Returned Services League clubs in Australia - up and down and way across each country, returned services personnel and their families will attend 'dawn parades' and return to their clubs to socialise and have a drink in memory of those who have passed on.

ANGLETON — When William Johnson made a couple of suspicious U-Turns at the intersection of Texas 35 and 288 early Sunday a state trooper pulled him over.

Police in Italy have issued footage of a man who is suspected of hypnotising supermarket checkout staff to hand over money from the cash tills.

In every case the last thing they remember is the thief, who has been captured on CCCTV, leaning over and saying,"Look into my eyes," before finding their tills empty!
