He and his younger brother Mike, who was also in a pop group, The Scaffold, lived here from 1955, until Paul returned from The Beatles American tour in 1964

They may not be monuments but these red telephone boxes stand as part of British history, and unfortunately are lesser spotted these days. These two fine examples can be found in Exchange Street West, next to the Town Hall

This is a popular area for locals and visitors alike, and is located between Church Street and Queen Square. It is here you will find this wonderful arching water jet fountain, a feature enjoyed by children of all ages, especially in the summer sunshine
