I love summer. I love the outdoors. I love gardening.

I can't enjoy it because of allergies. Why don't they make something like a Blueair purifier for outdoors? Yes, I can take allergy medicine, but then I feel like there is a rock in my sinuses,I'm tired, and my eyes feel blurry.

Dealing with Customers

You don’t need to know anything about a customer to be able to control the outcome of a dispute. There is an old saying 'the customer is always right.' It is obvious that the customer is not always right, in some cases they can be down-right and they are not always nice.

It amazes me how different quotes are. I have a quote for a policy for my husband to take care of the family. I recently went to get a second policy for my son, to support him through university incase something happens. There was a big difference even though I'm only 5 years older.

Silence is Not Golden

Listening is the solution to 50% of all problems. An open, safe environment invites people to air a grievance, alert managers to problems, and keep managers on-top of their subordinates personal problems and office conflicts.

I've been looking at those inflatable pools and pool toys made for temporary use. I've been thinking of having one added, but I don't know if they would ever warm up.

Toxic Communication Styles

We’ve all met them, the business manager who consistently, rudely, and loudly chastises people’s stupidity. This not only costs the company talented employees, but has far reaching repercussions.

I decided to start a short series on communications. It is the #1 reason why websites succeed, and others fail.

A new buzz word entered the business world a few years ago, toxic communication. We use to believe that venting emotions, gossip, casual talk about the competition, or using our words as a weapon, were harmless, victimless. It took the advertising world to teach us that every word is a two edged sword.

Summer is here. This is the time we do most of our travelling. Most people travel in the winter to escape the cold. I'd rather travel in the summer when everyone else is going to the tourist traps and cottage country.

I've been working with several friends to make a living from the web. I've am the sole income earner in our family, and it is possible to earn money on the net.

But, there are so many new people who are trying to make a living on the net that the are making it difficult. Not because they are willing to work for free, but because they are stealing content from good websites and using it on theirs to make them look like they are the pros.

I just wanted to alert people to a new drug. It isn't really new, it was used on people in the 50s, now it is used for horse tranquilizers: Tricyclic antidepressants

I was drugged with it, but because it is not on the 'list' I had a terrible time getting help from the hospital. I had the shakes and headaches as well as 4 days of insomnia.

More on Detox

Ive been chatting a lot about detox. There are pills that work. I started to detox because I wasn't sleeping well, I was feeling bloated, my stomach was upset a lot, and I looked bloated.

My husband used pills likeOrovo detox which promised to do a great job at detox. I think the benefit of the pills is that you don't need to worry about becoming blocked. Blockage is the #1 problem with a natural detox program and can cause more problems than the detox can.

I have a personal web for the first time in two years. I built it recently, but still have a lot of work to do. It is finally nice to have an official site where I can chat about my stuff.

I like being on blog communities.

Does Detox Work?

After a month of working on a personal detox program, I've come to some conclusions. The pills my husband took did not work as well as my program of 'increased fiber and fruit.'

I took flax seed, increased by water intake to 2 liters a day, and increased my fruit intake. Within three weeks I was feeling better and more regular.
