The Vision of The Anointed
Written by Thomas Sowell, 1995
I found this book to be truly enlightening. Truths revealed about the last 50 years and more in the United States reveal how we ended up where we are today and hint at where we will be tomorrow. The truths revealed in this book are sometimes disturbing, but then you realize that you are better off to know the truth – even if the truth is not pleasant.
This comedy fiction is made up of eight stories, all written by P.G. Wodehouse (1881 – 1975). He was born in Surrey England and eventually became an American citizen in 1955.

Today is Mother's Day in the U.S. so I want to wish all Blogger Party Moms a wonderful day. Hopefully your children will bless you and you can rejoice in the special role you have had to play.

Many of us have heard Bill Clinton referred to as the first Black President. I never knew who had said it, but always understood it to mean that Bill Clinton supported policy's perceived as beneficial to the Black Community.
On September 11, 2001 the New York Times published an article by Dinitia Smith entitled, "No Regrets for a Love of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen". The protester was William Ayers, friend of Barack Hussein Obama. The first sentence of that article goes like this:
Once they grasped the imminent danger facing the global community, U.S. decision-makers had no choice but to act quickly, and so they did. Petroleum-based fuels are possibly the largest source of man-made carbon so it was only logical to reduce gasoline consumption. The solution proposed was to start blending ethanol (produced from corn) with gasoline. This has been going on long enough now that we can access the impact of this program.
She was the only female running in the race. She poured every ounce of her being into this race - running her heart out. But, alas, she came in second. She finished with head held high, but she was quite injured and subsequently euthanized on the track.
There is a lot of media attention recently regading the 20 month old boy in the U.S. who ate some of the Aqua Dots craft/toy and was apparently made sick by a chemical breaking down into something like GHB, the date rape drug. Certainly this is a terrible thing and everyone is glad that the little boy is fine now.
Dingy Harry Reid (lead democrat in U.S. Senate) has been playing a word game with respect to the Bush-Kennedy amnesty bill. Dingy Harry is actively marketing the amnesty bill as President Bush's bill. Obviously President Bush is pushing hard for the bill to pass, but it is a bi-partisan bill. Why is Dingy Harry so careful not to call it bi-partisan?
Although many people have decided that the global warming phenomenon is hard science, there are others who still have plenty of unanswered questions. Driven by fear of impending destruction for planet earth, 'the many' say there is no more time for talk or questions. Rather, we must act now to save the planet.
Consider this legal precedent. I don't recommend it, but maybe you will want to keep it in the back of your mind.

What I’ve heard from those who have Windows Vista, the normal interface (Aero) is really pleasant to look at. Each window has a frame that is glassy, translucent and casts a soft shadow on the desktop. Images behind the glass are blurred thus giving windows a frosted look. The mouse pointer passing over a button causes it to glow and progress bars fill up with a green gel.
