March Madness

Well, here we are again at March Madness, which usually gives way one day to April Anxiety, that Magic four week period when work gets done at halftime, or during the short dead time days of Tue - Wed.
Why do they have this every year? When March greens up, it really greens. Greenabcks, dead Presidents (and cabinet members), Money. Yeah, they'll be having this as long as many of the most coordinated post-teens in the world can avoid major injury, and the referees twice their age, (and about half the speed), can actually see most of what's going on.

Conspiracy Theories

John F Kennedy died by gunshot wound, never to be proven who shot the shot, who wanted to, where the real shot came from, how many and how often, how a first botched investigation can screw up the minds of so many people. So how did it happen? Does anyone have a way to show exactly how it happened? One burning question, as always. How does a police dept who supposedly failed miserably on fri afternoon suddenly re-fail on Sun morning, letting a lifetime punk shoot another? Who wanted that to happen?

Baseball Stories

St Louis Cardinals fans still respect Kirby Puckett. The World series trophy went away to Minn on his shoulders in 1987. Then in 1991, the Atlanta Braves joined us as the only National League teams unable to win in MN. LA won one game in 65, thus a 4-3 win.

Kirby...your life was shortened. We only wish this cruel world hadn't picked on you so badly.

New day

Every day we wake up, shower, get on that crazy highway, and work at an office, or a jobsite, or, as I used to do, a prison. working at a prison was quite a trip. I worked at a psychiatric unit, in which many prisoners were "catch-outs" looking for a vacation from the harsh prison life in so-called "real" units.

Words Hijacked--Changing Meanings for an Agenda

Another attempt to be posted here by a thinking American about to be labeled as intolerant, bigoted, hate-mongering, and generally despised for having an opinion opposing that of the gay left.

A few definitions first
