Missouri Mama

A white start

Well, today is the first day of spring. Usually when people think of the first day of spring, they think of the grass getting greener, and other such 'lively' occurances.

Well, that isn't the case here in good ol' Missouri. In the lovely state of 'ever changing weather' we are getting... SNOW! YES, SNOW, on the first day of spring. Now, a snow storm in spring is NOT a rarity here, but with the mild winter we had, it's odd to see the stuff falling. Well its more like blowing and whipping everywhere then falling. Besides the snow, we also have some nice wind going on today.

Head....Hurts....Help....Me.....

Ok let me say, as much as I love my husband and web design, today I DISLIKE BOTH GREATLY. Hubby finally purchased a domain and some hosting so I have been in the process of moving everything off the free host and onto the paid.

So the majority of my day has consisted of redirecting links where they belong, and fixing this pesky formatting error that kept coming up on pages. Dang Frames weren't working correctly. Anyways my head is spinning. BUT I THINK I got everything where it belongs and linked up properly. And if I don't too bad I told Hubby when I shut the FTP off that it was NOT being opened up by me again today!! AND I MEAN IT!!

Poor VS Poor

In American Society, we have divided the poor into two classes, the "worthy" poor and the "unworthy" poor. The “worthy poor are those we feel are worth being on state/federal aid and do not complain about assisting. The “unworthy poor are those are receive aid as well but for some reason society feels they could take care of themselves and not depend on the aid.
Society feels that those in the “unworthy class are capable of providing for themselves financially. The reason being that most of the people who fall into this class are younger then the people who fall into the “worthy class. Many who fall into the “worthy class are the elderly who are beyond working age, and find it hard to support their selves without some form of a fixed income.

Not A Lot To Say

Well, I guess I just don't have a lot to say today. Usually I can think of something, no matter how boring, to share. I must be coming down with something.

Let me just take a minute to say that it is 8:30 and my house is QUIET!! The oldest is at her grandmothers house (as usual), and the two younger fell asleep in the car on the way home and are now resting quietly on the couches. Man this is an eerie sound for me, not even the tv (which is almost always on) is going.

Day 2

Well, it's day 2 for me here at Blogger Party, and I still haven't came up with the Niche I want for this blog. I can always do the 'how was my day' blog, but I already have one of those. And trust me, there isnt much excitement in my day to write about, let alone read about.

Hopefully I can come up with something fairly quickly as I am driving myself nuts trying to come up with a subject. Oh well, at least it keeps me thinking.

The Beginning

Well, I guess I will start by introducting myself. My name is Cheryl, I am the WAHM of 3 beautiful Daughters. B is 4, T is 2 and L is soon to be 1. I am also married to M, a 25 year old full time student, in Criminal Justice. We live in a small town up on the Missouri/Iowa border, and enjoy a quite simple life.

I just found blog party and thought I would start a blog over here and check it out. I haven't really decided what the topic of this blog is going to be at this point, so be sure to stop back in a few days and see what I decided to go with. Any suggestions I would be more then happy to hear about. I currently have a personal blog, an electronics/technology blog, and a 'odd news' blog. So as you can see I am all over the place with my blogs.
