Well, he wasn't arrested for breach of parole conditions. He returned to his probation approved housing the day after he was supposed to so they decided to let all the rules (including being arrested for threatening behaviour, drunken disorderly and another instance of racial affray) that he broke slide because he showed he's making an effort.
Hmmmm, making an effort. What a joke! Making an effort to cause trouble, I can agree with that. Making an effort to follow the rules laid down for him. Well why should he do that when they're willing to remove rules that he can't follow.

Anyway, here's the funny story I had to tell you about one of the gang. It's not comedically funny, it's more confusingly funny, so don't expect to bust a gut or anything!
A friend of mine was on the bus the other night and as he got nearer to my place one of the little gang got on the bus. He was all flustered and out of breath. The bus driver asked him what was wrong and the conversation went something like this :

Ooops, I'm sorry, I made a mistake with my last blog entry. We were told that if he didn't return last night to his probation approved residence from his Moms house that he would be re-arrested and sent back to jail to serve out the rest of his sentence.
Well we received a phone call today to say that he hadn't returned to the hostel or his housing last night. He still hasn't made contact with the probation service. He's still in the village that probation conditions state he's not allowed to be in. So yes, he broke every single condition they set for him yesterday. So yes, he should have been arrested, BUT... yep, that's right they've decided he'll be given until tomorrow night now. If he doesn't arrive home on the last bus tonight then they'll think about throwing him back in prison.

Well more news on the attack on my family last xmas day. I was talking about how they'd removed certain parole/probation conditions because he couldn't keep to them. Well it appears he's finally pushed his luck too far. We received a phone call from the probation liason officer earlier to warn us that his family might cause us problems later today (nothing happened obviously!) because he was about to be arrested for breach of probation conditions.

Going back to the guy who is out on parole for attacking my family last year on christmas day.
Once again he's been allowed to stay at his parents over the weekend. Only this time he's had some of his parole conditions removed! Of course he would you're thinking, he's probably behaving himself?
Well I'd like to say yes, I'd really like to say yes, because that would mean something progressive had happened. Unforuntely it's not the case. Since coming out he's been unable to control his drinking. He's failed every breathalyzer and piss test, and had the police called on him twice during his "home stay's for behaving himself as well as possible".

Where I live is the countryside, and where I work is in a small tiny village. The village has a little police station in it that holds the 2 police officers who patrol the village and the surrounding villages.
Recently they began renovating the police station and found asbestos in there. As a temporary measure they've moved the police officers stationed there to an empty shop across the road from us.

I see this guy 1000 times a day, the face and body might be different each time but damn if the personality isn't a carbon copy!

This is a personal thing for me so sorry if rant, get angry or go on for a looooong time! It also might be a bit haphazard but there's alot to tell!
Last Christmas a gang of youths (all over 18) tried to stab my sister and her family as she came to visit our parents last christmas day. It started with them trying to kick my sisters car and missing. Then they chased after her (it was only 2 of them at this point) waving a knife at my 8 year old niece. My sister and her husband stopped the car and got out and went after him.

Going back to the social chain letter idea, how about printing up your own t-shirts (an idea which I own the copyright to, just to stop some business trying to spin a profit from an similar kind of idea) with some kind of slogan on them declaring involvement in the social chain letter? Feel free to print up as many as you want and give (preferrable!) or sell (necessary I know, and as long as it's not commercial or for too much profit) them to your friends, relatives, neighbours, enemies, any one who will take them and get involved!

Now I know I'm not the smartest monkey on the planet, but is it just me who thinks that handing out free gifts to habitual offenders is backwards? I mean do they get some kind of loyalty card? 100 offences for a PSP, 500 for a holiday?
Wouldn't this just encourage kids who aren't really bad to become criminals? I mean what do kids who get on with their lives in a good wholesome social manner get? I'll tell you what they get, they get robbed by the kids looking for a free holiday! I know there's not a lot we can do about this but we could all email the home office (public.enquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk) 1000 times a day to change this practice, they might just get so fed up with our emails that good monkeys start getting rewarded and bad monkeys get punished.

You know those chain letter things we get on our mobiles and in emails. The ones that promise stuff if you send it on to X amount of people. I was thinking that we could create an oral and social version of these chain-letters.
I know what you're thinking. These are busy times, and in busy times we monkeys don't have time to monkey around doing something like this; but only a few seconds out of everyday monkeys day is needed. It's a simple as this.
