I am a fan of National Geographic shows, or any nature documentary. Some classics for me include The Blue and Green Planet and Planet Earth on BBC TV and Nat. Geo's Naked Science is also a favorite of mine.

One of the creatures that continue to fascinate and amaze me is the bird of flight, whether the hummingbird and sparrow or the bald eagle. Their ability to fly has never been matched by any other creature, that's why I believe they are called birds. Mind you there are other creatures, that are non-avian in order, however they being so much smaller we think that they jump or are just carried by the wind. But they too are equally impressive.

I live on an island right now. My place of birth is also an island and as I sit here and think about life growing up and also in the sub-metropolitian area I live in currently I realize there are still some forms and ways of life I take for granted.

Are there really any good chances out there to use the internet as a viable medium to promote and sell products? I believe the answer is yes. Even though it seems that there is always so much HYPE about a good deal and so on, when those who make that 'pitch' are the ones hoping that you will be daunted and overwhelmed enough to take them up on their offer.

Ever thought about the effort that is put into making a reality show look real?
Most of the 'execs' of these reality shows do the same or even more work to find the concept, the unique location, the target audience and yes the actors (the casting).

The story begins (or the plot thickens from here) when more than 2 years ago Iran is issued a serious warning about Uranium Enriching schemes that could lead to the development of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Well it was Iraq and the US caught and brought Saddam to justice, even though, if I remember it correctly that he has allowed the inspectors in. I think they may have a much rough time with the guy in Iran because he is talking big and is threaten big all like now. Take a look back at this story as it unfolds today.

Israelites, Israelis, Jews, Hebrews, Semitics, GOD's people, the elect, The Nation of Israel whatever you call them are some successful people. Now I do not know a Jew personally but I know that they are chosen and special people of GOD. Wherever they go you will find them prospering. Nonetheless is has been prophecy that they would be scattered to all parts of the world, but the blessing of Abraham their father still rests upon them. What is also prophecy is the regathering of these chosen people to their promised land and under a nation called Israel. This prophecy has already started since 1948 on their celebration as a nation. They have a promised land and that land has borders.

Egypt is one the oldest countries in the world. A friend of mine told me informally that the country is over 7000 years old. I find it interesting the relationship that Egypt has with Israel. Egypt was always seen as a worldly force to be dealt with. Even though she (Egypt) is not a Superpower like the EU or the fading US and one time USSR she has an interesting role to play with the PA who claims that Israel is on their land. Will Egypt have a stronger role to play in these latter times to rule over Israel as she once did several millenia ago?

Stem Cell Research and Spinal Cords both are two major components and precursors to the elements of advanced biological cloning and to a lesser extent (coming in the near future) electronic and maybe even cybernetic implants. The stem cell is closely linked to genetic engineering. When this type of research is coupled with brain and other CNS (Central Nervous System) off-shoots such as Spinal Taps, etc. we get closer to the novelty of electronic implantation with a close link to the CNS. Now they have been some implants in reality that are neither electronic nor deal with the CNS such pacemakers (electronic but not cybernetic), structural implants such as prostheses, cosmetic implants (breasts, face, etc.) but there are soon on the horizon those that will be implanted not to be as a form of control directly to the CNS but indirectly through persuasion. How so? RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology is a new type of chip that be implanted under the skin for the cause of security monitoring. It is planned to be used as a security screener when travelling local or abroad (toll booths, licenses and other road IDs using roads and highways legally, passport IDs) and for financial security and transactions (credit score, bank account, bills and leans). All this can be implanted in your body or a initially planned in the products you consume, and all this can lead to an invasion of privacy. But how is it indirect? Initially it can be seen as a useful bit of technology to store and create convenience for Information Retrieval. But plans ae under way to use that information as a marketing tool. These chips can be used to gather specific statistical data on how you consume and not consume (yes landfills will have the ability to scan your trash (products with IDs you throw away) through RFID to record how much stuff you consume or not consume) then the advertisers will know what type of products to suggest to your CNS when you enter their place of business, all because of the signal or information your body (future times) or your clothing, or credit card (near future) will give out. Serious stretch? I don't think so. You may not be able to make the link but check out this story.

It is amazing how this Al Qaida (Al Qaeda, different pronounciation and spelling: Al Ki-da or Al Ki-ee-da vs Al Kay-da) group got so much real press in North America since 911. I am sure the news buffs (those who keep abreast of all the world happening would have known more about the dreaded terrorist and religious sect pre-911. However it is interesting to look at some of the speculations of their origins and their roots. Where they looked to do most of their recruiting. Some say Pakistan, look at this report.

The trail continues with more than 2 years ago US troops were reduced in Iraq. So how did the number rise again? If so many came home or were reduced how is it that they have surpassed the amount of civilians that died in 911. Now when serious judgment is needed to either reassign troops or just reduce them again, people are calling for more troops in Iraq and more war! Iran anyone?
