Ok, so my husband and I embarked on a journey this past week. My daughter is 9 months old, and this was our first long trip with her. We went to Cooperstown, NY, and then continued west to Niagara Falls. The following is a synopsis of the knowledge we picked up along the way!!

Am I the only one that is sick and tired of hearing about people because of their trainwreck lifestyles??? Why is it that self-destructiveness of celebrities is the new drug of choice for the media??? Is there nothing else that our attention should be drawn to??

I am SO tired of hearing about public meltdowns and intimate details, AA and rehab, divorces and arrests. Why can't the media redirect their focus from such irrelevant garbage to something that might actually matter?? I personally would love to hear less about celebrities behaving badly and the circus surrounding the 2008 elections (for crying out loud we've only just started 2007!!!) and more about celebrities giving back to the country and politicians actually DOING something.
