Anyone hate their job or really dislike it? I've got a cure for this. It's called watching a tv show called Dirty Jobs. It comes on the Discovery Channel which I believe most people have that have basic cable.
The show is very simple. It has a host who goes and for a day does what is considered a dirty job. Typically people write in and tell about their job and the host goes out and does the job. He does things such as a septic tank cleaner, pig farmer, sanitation worker, etc. Most of the jobs are things many of us are not familiar with, but they all are absolutely disgusting. You cringe watching this poor bastard do these utterly awful jobs. So after I have a bad day and feel depressed for having to sit all day in front of a computer in a little cubicle I will come home and watch this poor fellow scrape shit off the inside of a septic tank and I feel all better.

So did anyone watch American Idol? Also known as AI? I swear everyone around me is talking about it. I myself am not American Idol fan but have seen many of the commercials advertising it. I think some of them are pretty damn funny but in all honestly, I mean seriously, do these idiots think they can really sing? So there are a few people who can truly sing and these are the ones that make the show and end up winning. But what about the rest of these retards. I know I can't sing. My ears tell me I can't sing. My friends tell me I can't sing. People typically know if they can't sing. Well, people other than these ones on AI.

So I have done my taxes online for the past couple years. I have done them at H&R Block. It is extremely simple to do as the program walks you step by step through the entire process. It is inexpensive, I think $20 or less. And it is very quick. For a fairly simple return you can expect to finish in an hour or less and know very quickly exactly how much you will get back, or have to pay. Plus you can electronically file and not have to worry about anything else. Print out any forms you may need and pay by check or even pay by credit card to the IRS if need be. So if anyone is paying an accountant or someone to do their taxes and have a little bit of time and a little bit of a brain and a little bit of computer knowledge then try it out online and see how easy it is.

So I recently took a trip to Asia. I noticed a couple things. One, I was actually kind of tall over there. Asian people in general are very short in the countries I was in. Two, Asian people are not fat. None of them. There are no fat Asian people. Of the millions and millions of people that live there I saw maybe one or two overweight people and literally no obese people. Contrast that with the US where 30-40% of people are overweight and a good portion of that are obese. And another thing..people in Asia eat a ton. They seem to eat more food than Americans. They can down some food.

Ever noticed how people are getting taller and taller? The average human height is increasing every year as health and medicine and nutrition improve throughout the world. So this begs the question. Will it ever stop? Will we hit a plateau? Or will we continue to get taller and taller. one hundred years from now will the average human be seven feet tall? That would be weird. Think how many things would have to change. Cars would have to be bigger. Ceilings would have to be higher. Planes would have to have more room. There are potentially dramatic changes that would have to occur. Heck, they may have to raise the goal in basketball.

Does anyone other than me and a few of my friends speak English in the US? I mean every time I am out somewhere I here Spanish or Portugeuse or French or who knows what being spoken. I feel like I live in a foreign country yet I am in my own back yard. Why can't people speak English in public? Speak whatever you want in the privacy of your own home. But speak English in public. That way I wont think you are always talking about me. And I won't have to write these bitchy blogs. Thanks

I like to watch hockey? Why? Because these crazy mofo's can fight. And it's legal. Well kinda. You get a penalty, and if you instigate you may get kicked out for one game but that is it. Think how exciting other sports would be if fighting was legal. Baseball - nope, you get ejected and suspended. Football - nope, you get ejected and suspended. Basketball - nope, you get ejected and suspended. Want to boost your ratings? Want to get more fans in the stands? Let these athletes dook it out. Who doesn't like to see a good fight? Getting your ass kicked in a game. Take it out on the opponent by starting a fight.

Am I talking about 100 years from now when we all have cars that fly? No, I am talking about today. RFID chips can be implanted and are being implanted in humans. So far most of the chips are being implanted for medical purposes. These chips contain a person's medical history so in case of a trip to the hospital your medical info can be pulled instantly. I think this is a pretty cool idea.
But now people are getting RFID chips implanted for other reasons. These chips can contain personal info such as your credit card info or web sites you like to visit or your home address, etc. These devices can also be used for tracking purposes such as the way they are done now for animals.

Out of ten movies you watch how many of them are actually worth a damn anymore? I mean it seems like I hardly ever see a movie anymore that I thouroughly enjoy. I am sitting here typing this while Mr and Mrs Smith is on. I thought this may be a good movie because Brad Pitt is one of my favorite actos and Angelina Jolie ain't too bad to look at either, but this movie basically sucks. It's soo off the wall and has turned into nothing more than a shoot em up. The story is so weak it doesn't even work in Hollywood. Last night I watched Sin City. I'm not sure yet whether I liked that movie or not.

So I am at the point in my life that I have given up on meeting a good girl. The girls I see out at bars typically dont stand up to my high expectations. Yes they may be very pretty but that just doesnt cut it for me anymore. I do need to be attracted to a girl but she must have much much more than that. A friend of mine recently signed up for online dating and has had some initial success. He is still very early in the process but it made me wonder if this stuff really works. I thought I would never think about doing something like this because it seems so weak and for the losers out there who can't get a date on their own.

Today is one of my favorite days of the year. I get to sit on the couch and watch great college football teams battle it out all day in bowl games. It used to be that almost all the games were played on New Year's day but times have changed and now not as many games are played but there are still enough to keep my attention. The only thing that would be better than these bowl games would be a playoff. But that is not going to happen until these NCAA cronies stop worrying so much about their paychecks and money and worry about the student athletes and all the hard work they put in and the money they provide for these schools.

So this is my first post on this site. I am a blogging virgin. It's been a while since I've been any type of virgin so it feels kind of neat to be one again.
