Birkhead; He Still Irks Me
Okay, maybe someone here can help me with this one. I still think Larry Birkhead is smarmy, and I hate that he ended up being the biological father of that beautiful baby, though I had a feeling that one would be true. I also hate that he gets custody, and, indirectly, will get money, and a bunch of money, if this lawsuit against the big time millionaires eventually ends in their favor.
This just seems like the worst thing to me, and I inherently just hate this guy, and I can't figure out why. Maybe it's because it's not what Anna Nicole wanted; why should that matter to me? Maybe it's because, early on, he was cozying up to Anna's mother, whom almost no one else liked. Or maybe I'm just nuts.
Any ideas on this one? I know on BF we were kind of talking about it for awhile, but I'm still missing it. Does this guy really have some kind of appeal?

I don't think he's cute at all, although I find howard really cute.
What I've always wondered is why Anna was so against him knowing that the was the father. It seems to me she went to great lengths to keep him out of the baby's life. So I have to wonder what goes on behind his closed doors?

that it all comes down to money. I thought that from the beginning, that Birkhead was in it for the money, and I still believe that, reality of him being the birth father or not. I think, in the long run, Anna realized the only person she could really trust was Howard, who'd been with her for years and never collected a dime from her.

And his feelings of "I told you so" are just...however I too agree that it's all about the money. This baby is going to have a very rough time of it and he is very slimy, but then again maybe, just maybe he will do right by her...NAH! I hope he has enough sense not to do a "movie of the week" but tacky is as tacky does!

especially because she's just so adorable right now. That's going to be one overly photographed child, that's for sure. And maybe that will help to keep this guy accountable, with his slimy, smarmy self.

While I like him better than Stern, I agree with your assessment - he's smarmy and he's out for the money - and for publicity. I think he had visions of a movie contract when he first started all his bs.
