"Racism does exist and we can’t deny it,' says Bipasha Basu who is London for Vivek Agnihotri's latest film Goal starring John Abraham and Arshad Warsi. The film deals with soccer and has been shot in some real life soccer grounds all over the UK.

Unfortunately what has marred the shooting in London is the racism that the cast and crew faced at the hands of the British. Director Vivek too confirmed that they all faced racism in some form or the other.

Even Bips was racially attacked, but the strong Bong actress seems to have taken even this in her stride and she is unfazed by it.

Bips says “It was nothing major, but while Arshad and I were shooting, two white guys started rapping some song which poked fun at Indians.

Initially I was a bit shocked; I have never heard such things in my life. But then I thought forget it, time to move on. No point stressing over it.”

When asked what kind of remarks, Vivek says, "John, Bipasha, Arshad and many others used to shoot for long football sequences and that was very ugly. These goras used to pass many remarks about our skin colour, the fact that we are Indians and the superiority complex they had.

There have been times when I have heard racist comments such as 'Bloody Indian' and 'Go back to your country'. However, I have always managed to keep my unit calm enough to never react. I have always told them to concentrate on their work rather than get in to an ugly war of words."
