What could be worse than losing a loved one in war? You would think nothing right? You are already grieving for the loss however for some military families they still have to deal with a few other things that not your every day person must deal with.
Imagine being at the funeral to walk out and be greeted by the worst group of people...PROTESTERS. And they are happy your spouse or loved one is dead. They are cheering and saying he/she deserved to die. Even that God punished them because of the rest of the country. GET REAL!!!!
I'd want to shoot these protesters myself, if someone didn't beat the crap out of them first. This hasn't happened to me, thank goodness or anyone I know. But it has been happening to a lot of military families. Is anyone doing anything about it? Yes, finally laws are going up to help those that are having a funeral. It's already a sad time for the families why make it worse.
Does a child need to see this? Wife? Mother? etc. No, and it shouldn't be tolerated!
I saw this on some local news reports online today and had to share. One church group that have been protesting at funerals was slammed with a $500 bill. Granted that's not much but at least they'll have to pay up before the next time. Too bad we can't charge them and put them behind bars for a LOOOOOOONG time.
Don't get me wrong, I know this is america and suppose to be all about freedom but there is a certain place I draw the line. Funerals is a big one! If you don't like the person, or glad they are dead, just stay at home.
