BIJP: Berryz will upset °C-ute

Berryz Kobo's savvy will beat °C-ute

Berryz Kobo, in blue-agreen, and °C-ute, in pink, will engage in a 'Battle Concert' April 20 in Yokohama.

(No rating): On the heels of saying that °C-ute is the world's best performing group, sister blog Best in J-Pop then favors Hello Project's other junior group, Berryz Kobo, in a much-ballyhooed "Battle Concert" between the two. Why? Because Berryz has been around for a year longer, and has closed the gap in quality singles that °C-ute built up through most of 2007. A two-tiered rating system and cool screencaps drive the point home!

Thanks for the heads-up; link fixed above ... yes, indeed, when do we stop calling them juniors? As soon as they turn 18, they retire or graduate!

My personal feeling is to stop at the point where than can legitimately match their sempai. Let's say no one newer than Koharu.
