I CAUGHT THE BIGGEST TURTLE TODAY!!

I AM EXCITED!!!

It weighed over twenty pounds. I know because I reeled it in and then lugged the sucker up onto the dock. I had been fishing, not really expecting to catch anything. I get distracted, look back, see the bobber just SINK and voila! Mucho grande turtle. It of course, was a Snapping Turtle. They're the only big one's you find in New England. I got pictures, which I show to people and get amused by their reactions. One woman thought I was nuts to pick it up. But honestly, that Snapper was such a sweetheart once I got him on the dock. He didn't seem to mind at all, and even came back up to blink at me in the water when I released him.
