Have you heard about Big Brother? Well, let’s just it is about 12 housemates, each not knowing each other. They have to live in one house only. There are cameras everywhere. Each move they make is shown on television, and at present, even in the Internet. They have to stay in that house for around 15 weeks or so. They cannot go outside of the house and they are only able to talk to no one but themselves, and the owner of the house, Big Brother.

The goal of this is to be the last one standing. Every week, the housemates have to nominate their fellow housemates for eviction. Then, the viewers are given the chance to vote who they want to stay in the house. Whoever gets the lowest number of votes leaves the house. The last big winner receives the grand prize. But life is not that easy for Big Brother gives these housemates various types of tasks and challenges that would test various aspects of themselves.

This show is more known as a real life soap opera. It was the product of the creative brain waves from John de Mol’s mind. De Mol is from the Netherlands. It is already been hitting many countries around the world and the number is almost nearing 70. And the rules followed are still those that de Mol has conceptualized. Sometimes, during situations that needs great clarification or needs a huge decision, Endemol (the show’s production company) is still asked for assistance about such.

The areas where Big Brother has already been making his homes are Africa, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Central America, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Mexico, Middle East, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Pacific, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Scandinavia, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, and Venezuela.

It is pretty gross

I've seen it and found it distasteful. Why anyone would waste time watching such crass stuff I don't know. I've better things to do.
