Beatles Playing "...Me and My Monkey"

Submitted by JimLow on May 23, 2008 - 4:49pm.

This video plays one of the Beatles hardest rockers "Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except for Me and My Monkey". Recorded for the White Album in 1968, this song has an amazing rythm guitar playing throughout the song. At the end of the song, Paul McCartney has a nifty little bass solo that leads into a hard rock guitar riff. Ringo taps a bell along with a strong drumbeat. It's an amazing song and a great example of how well the Beatles played heavy hard rock numbers. Lots of late, great photos of the Fab Four display throughout the video as well.

talented musicians, and in John and Paul's case, talented writers as well. They also developed their music to suit the changing fans taste.
