Batteries - why do you never have the right size??

Why is it that when you need new batteries for your remote control or mouse you can never find the right size? I needed the normal size for my wireless mouse last night, the AA size. Could I find them anywhere in the house? Of course not. Only the stupid pencil thin batteries. Why the hell can't all batteries be the same size?? Gaargh!

I have the same problem.

size DOES matter!

LOL the title says more than I want to but only because of the 100 word minimum now.
Simply said what if everything was the same size? Just wouldn't be as fun living that way now would it? Anyway, you probably needed a trek to the store for some binge shopping :) Now, stock up on every size there is, you never know when you will need one.
