Bad Time for a Birthday.....

My son's 2 year birthday party is this Saturday and apparently this is not such a great time to throw a birthday party! Everyone is out of town on vacation!

So, he will just have two of his little friends and their parents over, which is fine since I really like the parents and the little girls are dolls. But it still kinda makes me sad.....all of our relatives live in California & we are in Oregon.....well, at least he won't know the difference..... :-(

"They" say...

...that you should invite the the amount of kids that correspond with your own kids age to a party, so two kids is actually perfect!

Sorry about the bummer, but you guys have a GREAT time and tell the little guy HAPPY BIRTHDAY for me!

Don't worry about it too much. I have several birthday horror stories. He will have two friends there, and he will have tons of fun.

We also go through the relatives not being there. My mother-in-law has yet to show up for a birthday party, but the kids don't seem to mind. It means that they get several birthday parties. lol

But if you want to be like them, you'll have to emulate. -Ayria
