Auto Insurance Basics Part One

Is it just me, or was having the guy who does the Allstate Insurance commercials an excellent choice?? His voice is so soothing, yet dominant and knowing. He gives a great feeling of trust for those who want to buy auto insurance. And it doesn't hurt that he played to President on Fox's "24."

Allstate's auto insurance is one of the best around. With so many different companies out there, it's no easy to be unique anymore. But Allstate Auto Insurance is definitely trying. They have the Accident Forgiveness program, for one. They also have the Deductible Awards program. This means that any of their Gold or Platinum package members get $100 knocked right off of their deductible right away. Then, for each accident-free year, they get another $100 knocked off.

While this might be a moot point if you have teenagers in your household, it is a good feature for those of us who are safe drivers. We should be rewarded for driving safely. Lord knows it's not easy with all those other nutjobs on the roads.
