ATTN: Detroit Area Singles

I found this posting on the community section of craigslist. I just wanted to repost it because I think some Detroiters may want to attend!

Here's the Posting:

Detroit Area singles - meet new people and help a great cause at the same time! This event is for singles looking to meet other singles, it will take place in May 2006. We will meet at a metro Detroit area bar and Grill (places to be determined).
Tickets will be sold for this event beginning in April, costing about $15 a piece. I will donate 10% of each ticket to a charity, such as the Humaine Society.
The event will include one free beverage (only for those over 21 years of age), snacks, a small gift, entertainment (DJ or Band, dancing, etc.) and possibly door prizes.
You will have the chance to meet single men and women from your area in a fun, safe environment.
I am trying to get a rough estimate of how many people are intereted in attending so I can determine what budget we can work with. I will need to reserve tables early, so please let me know if you would want to attend.
Since we will need to find a place that is good for everyone, please email me where you are located and if you have any suggestions. I am looking for one volunteer to help me coordinate all of the details. We will be donating any profits off of this event so it will not be a paid position.
