We have the ability to flag posts as spam. USE IT, PLEASE!!! Tonight, I log on to find the whole front of the board covered in spam. I'm sick of it, and I know I'm not the only one.

won't let the same blogger post more than one post every hour or so which helps prevent spam. It is rather irritating to post a blog and then see it moved off of the first page as it is being repolaced by sploggers who fill the page with copied material.

I know it happened at BP, and I hit the alerts about it being spam there also. What I don't remember at BP was someone posting a bunch of messages, then commenting on their own post first, and it being the same message over and over. But this is the first time I've specifically commented on it, in this message here.

Not, the most pro-active thing to do, but I'm also working off the battery, so need to be pretty damn quick when I'm online! Yes, it is annoying, but I don't see them really going away for good. Every timne one pops up and goes away, someone else is there to take there place.
I wonder what would happen if - when the front page is full of crap - we all posted and reposted (with new titles) our posts to knock THEM off. Just a thought.
