AT&T sucks

AT&T | business complaint | dsl | internet | phone service | Vonage

So I've had Bellsouth for years, which is now AT&T.

Several days ago, my phone and internet service went out. To make a long story short, they told me I would have to pay $130 just for them to come out. Plus, whatever they fixed. Basically I was told I would have to pay to have it fixed, have no service, or just disconnect.

I ended up signing up for cable internet through my cable company. I've also signed up for Vonage. I called AT&T back to tell them to cancel my service.

I got a guy that told me he would send someone out for free. When I refused, he offered me phone with all features plus my internet service for only $35.00 a month. Then he also offered to pay my penalty for breaking contract for the other places. I refused.

I refused because I felt that how I was treated by the other woman was wrong. I don't feel that AT&T is a company I can count on.

So far, I enjoy my cable internet a lot better. There were many times that my internet service was down with AT&T. I haven't got my Vonage stuff yet, but I am looking forward to receiving it.
