AS I WALKED ALONG THE BEACH

I walked along the beach with a cheer
Gazing the golden rays spraying shower
Splendour beamed through water’s mirror

Deep silence! Wave’s music clear
Whispered a message I did hear
I was carried beyond nature’s sphere
I loved to be alone and God to revere

My ‘self’ rose up as though to hear
Peace flooded my soul, he was near
I lost my ‘self’ under His candour
I felt one with Him simple and pure.

I felt in Him union, His own creation
Basking in His love in every action
His love flooded my soul, we are one
Joyful moment beyond depiction.
