It happened again! I get the monitor turned off, and I am all ready to go to bed. I go to brush my teeth, and there is a HUGE spider waiting in my bathtub. I don't know why they like my bathtub so much, but I have killed most of them in there.
The other night, when my daughter was sick, she woke me up. I came downstairs drowsily and got her a drink. As I was heading back up, I noticed that there was the largest wolf spider I'd ever seen, and it was about two inches from where my head just passed by.
The one tonight was quick. I sprayed it with Windex, partially because that's what my mom did, but mostly because I am a sick, sadistic bastard when it comes to spiders. That didn't phase it like I intended, but got it really moving. Not good. Not good at all. It ran, really fast, ALLLLL around the tub, and I tried smashing it several times before I finally got it.
Seeing these suckers with my phobia does not make for a good relaxing way to ease myself to sleep. I can't do this anymore. So, you heard it here. My house is for sale. Cheap. There is a *minor* spider problem, but they do blend so well with the lovely hardwood floors. Must sell due to owner's increasingly frequent panic attacks.
