Are You Ready For Real News?

INTERNATIONAL NEWS | national news | online news

We always hear people talking about whether the media is liberal or conservative. Seems that, no matter what, we all believe that all of our news sources are slanted in some fashion, whether it's TV, newspapers, or radio. Even much of online news seems to be tainted in some fashion.

Well, now there's something new. It's called Real News, and the difference is that it's user supported. Basically, it's paid for by the people; that's the concept. For only $10 a month, you get news, not sponsored news, from all around the world. You get special in-depth stories, going further than traditional news programs can. And,you're going to get news from places you don't get news now, global news, because it's all important.

Or so they saw. It's a pretty nice dream, and I might be one of those folks who signs up for it at some point, just to see how it goes. Based on mathematics, for all of this to become reality I figure they need at least one million subscribers, which would generate $10 million a year, which pretty much says they need to make sure they get 100,000 users a month to have a shot at making it all viable. I'm sure the production values won't be as great as we see now on TV, but that shouldn't be a big deal for us.

Anyway, check this out; it's about 7 minutes. Then decide for yourself:

Hmmmm...sounds interesting, Catfish.

My problem is, I find it hard to trust anyone, anymore. Seems everyone has their own agenda - no matter what they tell you. Still, when I get my financial life settled, it just might be worth the $10 a month - at least until I decide these guys are just as full of it as the rest of them. LOL!
