Are you hiding? Where in the world are you?

It got off to a good start - but I think folk are hiding. With some 80 reads only a small number have chosen to respond to my question "Where do you live?" Where in the world are you?
I know there are folk from several countries - I've read your blogs. I see a few Aussies, I think one from New Zealand, USA and Canada, and I think India - but they all seem to be hiding.
I thought it was a great idea to find out where people live. It is an incredible community - people from around the world communicating, sharing ideas, stimulating discussion, helping each other.
One more try - where in the world are you?

Sun Diego
Look, I participated.
Thanks
Well done. Sun Diego, or San Diego? Anyway nice to hear from you.
Mav's just having pun
Laying it on thick, you might say.
We have a San Diego tribal representative in the lab here. Now, in Berkeley, there's the occasional raindrop sighting, a cause for great joy and celebration just as in Oz, and for the same reasons. And the temperature has the temerity to descend on occasion to 10 (read "50", Yanks).
Complain? Sheeesh! You'd think this was Frostbite Falls, Minnesota!
I just hope, for their sakes, that the Colorado River doesn't dry up anytime soon.

Sorry Tottie...
I've been busy for the past few days, so I didn't see your other blog. Anyhow, I'm from Akron, Ohio, former home of the rubber industry, current home of the National Inventors Hall of Fame museum and also home of Lebron James (I'm not a baketball fan myself, but for some reason people make a big deal about this). This isn't any easy city to sell.
This looks like a good way to get to know our fellow bloggers. I hope more respond.

Tornado?
We don't have tornadoes (apart from little ones) but we do have cyclones. We usually have several each summer but this summer which is almost over there was no real cyclone. Without the cyclonic rains our dams do not fill up. It is very dry. Thanks for dropping by.
