Are Republicans A Distinct Minority At Blogger Party?
While reading through numerous politically related posts here at Blogger Party, I can't help but notice that pro-GOP posts are outnumbered by anti-GOP posts by a ratio of approximately 20 to 1. The few GOP supporters often seem hurt, beaten down, even defeated. Their attempts to criticize more liberal members often backfire, resulting in a mob action where the Nazi/Republican is publicly lashed by numerous bloggers presenting far more convincing arguments than the GOP-supporter can muster. Clearly this trend is evident not just on Blogger Party but nationwide as well. The 2 most vociferous anti-Bush media personalities, Jon Stewart and Howard Stern, currently represent 2 of the hottest names in media. Meanwhile, the Republicans are represented by the fat pig criminal drug addict Rush Limbaugh and the equally unrespected compulsive liar Bill O'Reilly. These are indeed hard times to admit being a Republican in the U.S. as the wheels have come off the Bush administration in the post-Katrina world and the party is knee-deep in scandal. If you are a Republican at Blogger Party, I suggest you keep it to yourself....you're not in friendly territory.

Proud Republican
I'm a proud Republican. First of all, I'm sorry to disillusion you that your daydream isn't a reality. I've been posting as a Conservative since Day One and no one's posted more than me yet.
As for Bill O'Reilly/Rush Limbaugh v. Howard Stern/Jon Stewart, that's nonsense. I honestly don't care who the media gives the buzz. Who do people watch and listen to? Limbaugh, Hannity, then there's the blogosphere.
Second, the President's approval numbers are up. We're getting Alito on the Supreme Court, the economy's doing well. What exactly are we going to be mad about? Oh wait, I see right here according to Scott Ott.
Seriously, if you want this thing to be successful you have to realize that bloggers here for the Cashola. Now, if you want to drive away all the Conservative bloggers, fine. Cut your readership down, limit the potentional market for Blogger Party. Conservatives are busy people with lives and jobs, and if they're going somewhere where all the liberals are jerks, they're not coming back.

The Screwtape Reports
if you're going to be a proud republican then do it right
It strikes me as odd that you are not being honest; even more so that your dishonesty is so transparent.
If you are indeed a proud republican as you say then why do you feel the need to resort to such bizarre claims as can be found in that comment you posted.
Everyone knows that Howard Stern had upwards of 15 million listeners a day while he was on regular radio. The viewership of Jon Stewart's Daily Show has been growing exponentially and his book has been a run away best seller.
I'm not saying that the USA populace listens to people like Stern and Stewart exclusively, that would be foolish.
And yet that seems to be what you did claim about Limbaugh and Hannity.
How can you expect anyone to take you seriously when you make such claims?
You mention that the president's numbers are up. I'm not here going to state my own inclination or dis-inclination for this president.
I'm only interested in the facts. The current president Bush is the third most unpopular president since we started taking polls. Only two other presidents, Nixon and Truman, have ever polled lower than bush.
And you inquire what we in the USA have to be mad about.
You don't seem to be aware that you undermine your own standing as someone who might have a valuable opinion when you make statements like that which make it sound as if you live in a cocoon.
Keep in mind that I am not attacking your politics. I am finding fault with your presentation. I would, in fact, be quite intersted to hear an intelligent portrayal of the conersvative point of view.
But your comment sure wasn't it.
Conservatism in 3 paragraphs
Yeah, right. People listen to Hannity and Rush, and Michael Reagan, and a lot of others before the Air American airheads and Stern's show has always been more salacious than anything else. That's why Air America exists, because conservative talk is so successful and they want to counter it.
2ndly Howard Stern had 8.75 million listeners. Read the actual ranksings on The Radio Equalizer.
I asked what do Conservatives have to be afraid of? Not what do Liberals have to be mad about? I know you guys are mad whenever Bush does anything.

Spinners and Rattlers~
Democrats loathe Republicans.
Republicans abhor the Dems.
The Independent party is just sorta..............there.
Rush, Molly, Billy O', or Hillary-wannabe Nancy Palosi, I don't care who you are or what party you're with. I'll listen to what any one person of any party has to say, be totally objective, and I'll come up with my own conclusions without being berated with phone calls at election time~
oh yes, there is an unpublished number God~
Just because you're a chick talkin' political smack, doesn't mean I'm going to agree with that nice little political spinning toy all wrapped up in a donation package you're trying to sell me on the next election ticket, either.*
*Voting you for president not included.
I'll just stick with my little ol' Indi tag, since I can't get a party of my own with a snake as my mascot.
