Apartment Hunting Guide

Apartment Hunting could be stressful. I know that from experience. These are some of the things I learned this week.
1- No matter how desperate you are make sure you view at least 3places.
2- If you have doubts don’t take the place, a better one is likely to come up.
3- Get a second opinion from someone close to you.

Things to Consider while Apartment or Condo Hunting.
1- Location
2- Convenience. Is it easy for you to get to work or School.
3- If you drive is parking included. Most place will charge extra for parking
4- Are there restaurants, banks, corner stores, grocery stores and Dry cleaners in the area.
5- How safe is the neighborhood?
6- Is there a washer and dryer in the apartment or in the building. Personally I prefer having a washer and dryer in my apartment. It gives me the freedom to do laundry as I please.

There are many scammers out there who claim to have exquisite Apartments or Condo’s. Some will claim they are out of town and require a deposit before they send you the keys. Never pay for something you haven’t seen and signed for. Some Scammers will ask you to send a Moneygram or a Western Union transfer to a friend of yours, and then they will ask you to send them the receipt proving you can afford to pay rent. These people create fake identity cards and collect the money using your friend’s or relative’s name.
