Anyone making money? Yes!

Punk Rock Princess's picture

But not alot. A little bit each day. A very little bit - like a dollar or less - on a good day! [Yesterday I made a penny!] Most people new to the adsense aren't understanding of the time factor involved in this venture. If you aren't interested in blogging, this is not for you. If you are interested, just veiw this as an opportunity to reach a wide audience and earn a few cents.

For those of you not up to date, you earn money by the number of clicks you recieve on the google sponsered ads at the top of your entry. No matter how many people read your entries, you won't make any money unless they click. I always try to click on entries that are especially helpful or entertaining - this helps out those users. I hope that other people do the same. This isn't automatic clicking - only the few and far inbetween that really interest me.

I hope that this helps.
Who knows? Keep trying and so will I!
Good luck - we both need it.

Anyone Making money? no

I'v posted only about 4 or 5 times on this bloggerparty site and some of those postings have gotten more than 100 "reads." But not one cent has shown up in my adsense account - so - i'v kinda been wondering how long it takes...................?

It Takes Time

Anytime, you set up something on Ad-sense it takes Time to get money. The money is really going to be in your archives as you continue to post.

Second thing I'd urge is to take a look at the time of stories you've been writing. I've had days on my main blog, where I've gotten 500 page views and not a single click. If no one clicks on the ad, nothing else really matters.

Is your adsense code correct?

If you have had 100 reads or so, it is possible that you have earned some cents - I'd check that you had the right code in. It should only take a couple of days to get some action, albeit small.

we should help each other

I clicked for you, I hope you do the same for me. If we all want to make some money here we have to click for each other.

Gaming

What you're talking about as a matter of practice is illegal gaming of the adsense system. It violates the Terms of Service. You can't in anyway ask people to click on Adsense without risking getting your account pulled. The reason for that is that advertisers buy ads on Adsense in hopes of getting legitimate click-thrus. If people were allowed to conspire to up each others click income, the result would be the advertisers nor Adsense would be getting a return and as a result click rates would drop.

What the site really needs in more traffic and that takes weeks and months to build and will require patience.

The Screwtape Reports

huh?

Don't you make money when people click on the ads??? Don't those people actually see the page they clicked on and who knows that person might actually be interested in the product. What is illegal about that? They may or may not get potential customers and we get money so everybody wins.

No - Don't Do This

Don't solicit clicks from people. You will not make any money this way - you will just get your Google Adsense account deleted, quite possibly along with a few other people's if you set up some sort of click syndicate.

It is against Google's Terms of Service and you are cheating the advertisers out of the money they pay for Adwords.

Just keep posting away and you will eventually make some money.

Making Money YET? A Question

Maybe I am totally mising something here, but can someone explain HOW we make money? Also how do we find out what we have made? It's funny that this "blogger party" thing is so confusing! I went to college for 4 years and passed every class with flying colors, then I join "Blogger Party" and I have no clue what's going on!!! LOL!

Making Money on Blogger Party

In response to the question by realitycheck, everyone blog has one or usually two ads posted. The ads usually have to do with the keywords in your blog. When someone clicks on those ads, Google charges the advertiser and you get paid a percentage (a very small percentage) of the money made off the ad. The more blogs you have, the more ads you have and the more likely you are to get clicks.

Personally, I've made a grand total of $1.20, but I've only been a member for six days and have only posted four blogs. I hope this helps.

Anyway, I think the best way to help one another is to promote this site, not solicit clicks.

Thanks for the help

Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate it! I think the problem was that I didn't have my publisher i.d. filled in on the accounts page!

Definitely the key to making money here...

Is traffic building. I think the first few days this site was up there was a ton of traffic due to advertising. Then it seemed to mellow out though was pretty obviously still an active site. I mean, I don't think I ever saw less than 30 people online at any given time. And, since the referal thing was added it got huge again. Anyone notice how great the referal thing is here? Basically, if you get two whole people to sign up you'll double your adsense income. For four you'll triple it and so on. If you were making $1 a week posting here and there and got 100 people to sign up doing the same you could basically expect to make $50 a week without any effort on your own part. That's my plan anyway.

p.s. Anyone notice how fast blogs from this place show up on search engines?

Hmmmmm, no referrals or search engines here

I haven't seen any of my blogs from here in any major search engines such as Google and Yahoo and haven't been credited with any referrals despite advertising with a "Get paid to write blogs" link on web pages that get thousands of visitors daily. Maybe we are in alternate universes that just happen to intersect at Blogger Party.

Problem is, you're an idiot.

I'm serious, with the number of times already I've had to call "bullshit" in response to your idiotic posts I think the problem is with you. I'm going to go to bed now, but in the morning I'll give you a link to a search that has some of your retarded drivel showing up #1 on a search. M'kay?

A note to the GOP/Christian moron who wrote the comment above

Showing up #1 in search where? The Blogger Party search engine? Big whoopee. If you are satisfied with a useless #1 ranking in the Blogger Party search engine, you sir are the retard. I'm only interested in the RELEVANT search engines that will actually drive BIG traffic to my blogs.....Yahoo, Google, etc. The particular "retard" you're talking to has had 4 million visitors to his personal website annually. Of course you'd know nothing about that, you're satisfied with a couple cents a month from Blogger Party. Next time you refer to someone as a retard, you might want to read their resume and biography, not to mention the traffic data from their personal website.

Maverick's picture

Wow, drlolipop, your idiocy never ceases to amaze me

I want to do in-depth research of people's backgrounds before calling them idiots in reference to things they're saying right now? Hmmm... maybe not, huh? And nice assumptions on your part about me. Here's a hint, not a single thing you said about me is true. Not a one. Retard. Also, did you really think anyone gives a shit about your personal web page? I'd like to apologize for being better educated and making more money than you, but that would not appear to be my problem.

ModelMom's picture

Nope, not much....

I have two blogs, and I've been at it for over six weeks and am barely making any money. But I enjoy writing and reading everyone else's posts, so, I'll continue to write and maybe, just maybe, I'll get a little check in the mail....someday...*sigh* :-)

Another violation of Google's terms of service

Don't say how much you make on adsense. As other's have said, NEVER click on your own ads. Don't click someone else's links to generate money for them. You'll get banned from ever using Google Adsense again and it's near impossible to get back on (I am one of about 5 total I've heard of). It's not worth the little money you could make and they don't pay you what you made so far. It's just bye-bye account.

Like others have said, it's a gradual thing. Plus the way you write matters (search engine optimize your posts, which I'm not really doing). There are profitable keywords to write about and you need to use those keywords in your title, your heading, and some in the text. There's a great article about it on writingup.com.

Best,
Janet

time is money

With all the bloggers clicking for pennies, it is a shame that you could be using your time more wisely by submitting stuff to associated content and getting paid a few dollars per article accepted.

Dreams Matter.

Probably the best way to make money online...

Make money online by blogging at Xomba.com. Check out Xomba Here. Start writing and start getting paid. It works just like bloggerparty, you split adsense revenue 50/50, but you get a ton more traffic at xomba and, as a result, you make more money.

I make $50 to $90 a day at Xomba. You can too. If you write at bloggerparty, you might as well write a few articles at xomba and see what happens. Good luck.
