Specifically, I was scared of developing some kind of reaction to the therapy. There is so much negative pubblicity about antidepressants such as Prozac, Zoloft and Cymbalta, that it sure doesn't help those suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. therapy

panic attacks aren't fun at all. at the height of my anxiety/depression period, i went to a therapist and took medication. the therapy helped but the medication didn't really.

whatever works

It's not easy to find the right drug therapy the first time you see a doctor. In my case, the Zoloft helped with my social anxiety a great deal, and even tough I still have moments of anxiety (not panic), I can now say that my life has positively changed and I'm so happy!
