Answering misinformed Misa’s cheap shot

Latest blog ratings on YankeeOtaku

Creepy? This scene from 'Yo-Yo Girl Cop,' which stars Hello! Project singers Ayaya and Rika, is far removed from Japanese idol music.
Came across this old post, dated July 28, by a blog, “Stating Those Unnecessary Opinions,” signed off on by Misa. I can only conclude Misa penned and distributed this. The actual blog is located here.
Anyway, it is reproduced below, errors and all:
First try: YankeeOtaku
Pretty much everyone in the blogging community is aware of his general hate for International Wota. Most of us, however, may not know the entire story.
One thing that I am positive of though is that he created his own meta-blog, YankeeOtaku, obviously in the hopes of getting back at International Wota for their lack of coverage of his blogposts. He uses the blog mostly to cover his own entries, from what I see.
That may possibly be the stupidest thing to do on your own metablog.
Also, his slightly out-there and way too optimistic personality makes him come across as rather creepy.
And maybe International Wota isn’t covering his posts because the quality is not up to the standards of their site.
And maybe his posts are creepy.

'Jump!' is performed jointly by Berryz Kobo and C-ute during the April 1 'Battle Concert' at Yokohama Arena.
And JUMP is not some evolutionary song, it’s just an average jpop song thats about happiness and its sung by a bunch of girls pretending to have an innocent and optimistic view on the world.
Misa–Out.

Following is my response and impressions:
Hmm. When I started YankeeOtaku, I never called it a "meta-blog." That designation was given by Ray himself in a congratulatory American Wota post the day I first announced it. I appreciated the compliment, although YankeeOtaku is not technically a "meta-blog" because multiple contributors need to access it, a provision not possible at present.
As for IW not covering my posts, that is their choice and they don't need a reason. And, as I described on radicalpatriot.vox.com recently, IW has dramatically expanded and is covering a much wider variety of topics, many of which I have little or no knowledge, so commenting would be moot. Those factors cut off a major avenue of communication to the detriment of not only me but others.

Harajuku district, Tokyo, January 2008: There were many beautiful, and creepy, aspects of Japanese culture on display.
"Creepy" posts? Well, that's a subjective evaluation over which I have little or no control. I would point out, though, that "Road to the Deep East," declared by many reviewers as an excellent Japanese culture blog, is way more creepy than anything I could dream up. Madara's not too far behind, as are many of the extreme fan blogs and photobook enthusiasts.
I think you meant to say "revolutionary" instead of "evolutionary" concerning "Jump!," one of the best songs ever to come out of Hello! Project. Yes, "Jump!" was revolutionary in its optimistic (not innocent) view of the world, and reverence for maturity.
Finally, starting YankeeOtaku to “get back” at International Wota? Ridiculous. No, I started beta-testing YankeeOtaku because I had been stripped of any platform from which to express any opinions about the world of J-music. Not only did IW and AW stop reviewing my posts (I know they still read every one of them, however), the collusion extended to clipping links to Radreview and Best in J-Pop out of their blog margins. Again, any blogsite can do what it wants, but it is fundamentally un-American to muzzle different viewpoints, or, even worse, openly censor voices of dissent.
This Rad signing off – for now.
