Another Day with a Nerve Disorder

itching | nerve disorder

Nerve disorders are simply unreal. If I ever understand everything that is happening to me it will be a miracle. Last night my hands started itching and burning...I thought the regular pain was bad. This is awful. The itching appears to be another symptom of RSD. Hopefully the doctors will make a firm diagnosis soon. I'm so tired of waiting and feeling bad all the time.

I had a breakdown last night. Sometimes I just get to the point where I can't take the pain anymore and I just have to sit down and cry. I get so frustrated when I can't do everything around the house that I'm use to doing. Sometimes doing laundry feels like an Olympic event. I have no energy anymore so I'm constantly having to sit down and rest. It takes forever to get anything done.

As for as the pain goes my lifesaver has been my portable TENS machine. TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. It feels like little fingers massaging me and it relieves the pain a lot better than my pain meds. Since it is portable I can wear it while I do things around the house and it keeps my pain level down.

I've made it through another day...this time without a mental break down...that's always a good thing! Hopefully tomorrow my pain level will be just a little lower and hopefully this itching will stop before I go crazy!

PD and RSD

I had never heard of RSD until three months ago when a brother of ours in the church moved to our town. It sounds so painful to me. I have PD, since age 44 discovered, but I think my problems, other than some of the overwhelming fatigue at times, are much more bearable than you have it. Can I pray with you? Do not send any phone or address #'s. God has it all taken care of for those. Do youu believe in God?

YES!

God is why I'm able to make it through each day.
