Oh, Anna, you're so outrageous!
The death of her 20-year old son still making headlines, Anna Nicole's life goes on... and on and on. She now has a birth certificate stating the "official" baby daddy, lost a lawyer, and still has the poor kid on ice back in the states.
Daniel Smith's biological father held a funeral for his son over the weekend in Texas, which Anna Nicole did not attend, as Bahamian officials visited California to gain more background information on the events leading up to the boy's death. Instead, she sold pictures of her and her attorney, Howard K. Stern's, "committment ceremony" to People magazine. A move which angered one of her attornies, Michael Scott, who has withdrawn as her legal counsel in the wake. He stated, "It was not an amicable parting," citing differences he and Stern had in handling Nicole's matters.
Furthermore, a birth certificate naming Stern as the father has been issued from Bahama. Larry Birkhead filed a suit against Anna Nicole last week, demanding a paternity test be taken. He claims to be her baby daddy. He also claims she's addicted to more than TrimSpa and that Stern has helped facilitate her dependance on methadone.
Perhaps not so coincidentally, Nicole's own celebrity pathologist released test results which show that Daniel Smith died of a combination of antidepressants and methadone. Further tests are being undertaken.
Nicole and Stern's impromptu "wedding" was unofficiated (contrary to early reports and what I went by), and so no marriage license was or has been issued. Given Stern's track record, I have a feeling he can pull one out of someone's butt, if and when it becomes necessary. Which is probably why the whole "impromptu" ceremony took place to begin with -- and though I'm not sure, possibly took place on international waters (where loopholes, like sharks and pirates, abound).
I also have a feeling that Birkhead's case may go forward sooner than later, no matter what Stern or Nicole's other lawyers do to delay it, because of the methadone allegations and their relation to her son's death.
The Birkhead case, this fake marriage, methadone allegations amidst the young man's methadone-related death which she claimed to have "blocked-out," along with her self-serving decisions and past outlandish public behavior has me thinking morality may finally catch-up with the former Playboy Playmate and supermodel. And it may come with a prison term or, at the very least, cost her a sizable chunk of that inheritance she's been fighting for since the 1990s.
We can only hope...
