And You Thought Your Morning Was Bad (..warning, it gets gross..)

So I've been sick since the weekend. My throat is swollen to the point that it's almost closed, I have a permanent headache and I cannot eat much of anything because I have a virus on top of sinus problems.

That's only the beginning to my horrible morning...

I was feeling extremely sick this morning around 10:00am...so I decided that a shower might make me feel better. So I went and got my shower. After I was done I was feeling a little better. I noticed when I got out that my dog was laying directly outside of the bathroom door looking up at me. I made him move and took my dirty clothes to the laundry room.

Well, somewhere between the 20-30 feet from my bathroom door to the laundry room, my dog had thrown up / vomited all over the floor and carpet. Little did I know that he did this... I was not paying attention to the floor at all. I don't think I even looked down.

Unfortunately that's where my day got worse.

I not only stepped in the puke, but I then proceeded to slip and fall into it. GROSS, I know. I have a fairly large dog - boxer - 5 years old - pushing 100lbs. so it was no little pile. It was more like everything he's eaten the last day or so in 3 small piles spanning 2-3 feet.

So it was back to the shower for me and a good fussing at for him after I had to clean that mess up. He's a great dog, so I couldn't be too mad at him...seems he's sick too, so I can sympathisize.

At least I didn't throw up too.
