AN ODE TO MY SIRE

My mate and my favorite he brings me good cheer
just a word or a whisper and I know he is near
From goodness to badness for the sake of his mate
he’ll appear as a superman with flying red cape

Throughout all of the blogging world he is known
no other would dare, he’s not to be out shone
He’s sire to all and to lose him would be travesty
comments abound we bow to his majesty

He is quick to his wit as he is quick to his sword
his depth of knowledge is our reward
For he loves a good jest and he is never lacking
those who pretend, he just sends them packing

Hear ye! hear ye! calls the squires of his valor
leaving all of his women paler in pallor
we sigh and we swoon and weep with abandon
his victory ensured as he’s off to battle dragons

He’s sire for true, let no one put asunder
lest feel the wrath and the wake and the thunder
The knights they test him but never succeed
He’s our hero, our sire, yes indeed
