Where do you like to write? I like a bit of quiet, but I also like to be able to see what's happening outside, so a room with a window is essential.

Although I don't mind looking at houses, something more natural inspires me more. Sometimes I look at the golf course that's near home, but what really inspires me is water.

I've always loved looking at water. I don't mind whether it's placid or wild, but it speaks to my spirit somehow. The other day I had a look at some of the properties offered by Outer Banks Rentals. The area was beautiful, with a big beach and wild waves. I wouldn't mind having that as my view.

In the meantime, I have to take what I can get. That means watching the sprinklers as they water the golf course. Maybe one day I'll have an ocean view.
