American Vice President Candidate Rock Out Sarah Palin

Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin named her child after Van Halen. An article on People goes into things that people don’t know about her and one of the points was that she is a rock fan. Nothing wrong with that but that’s how she picked out her son’s name, Trig Paxton Van Palin. Palin’s friend of 12 years states that Palin used to say “How cool was that to have a kid named Van Palin?”

I can completey understand why she picked Van Palin. I was interested in the meaning of his other names. I could not find any info on the meaning of Trig. Maybe she likes math (just kidding). Paxton means “From the peaceful town or settlement”.
