American Religious Leader Guilty of the Ultimate Hypocrisy
Pat Robertson yesterday announced that he will endorse Rudy Giuliani. What???? You have got to be kidding me. The, as the Republicans and the Religious Wrong refer to them, Pro Abortion and Pro Gay Rights Giuliani is who Pat Robertson feels best represents his Religious Family Values?
OK folks, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck guess what? If there was ever any doubt that the most important thing to Pat Robertson was Power and Money this should forever put that debate to rest.
Pat Robertson told his flock of sheep that the reason America was attacked on 9-11 was because we allowed abortions and because of pornography on the internet.
Pat Robertson told that same flock that the reason Katrina happened and the damage done by Katrina was god punishing us for allowing abortions and homosexuality in America.
And “Whala” Who does Pat Robertson endorse as the presidential candidate for the Republican Party? The most liberal center of the road candidate running for that party Rudy Giuliani! Don’t get me wrong, If I had to chose a republican Giuliani would probably be my choice. But a Pat Robertson endorsement? Scare me!!!!!
Rudy has supported Gay Rights for many years. He lived with a Gay couple after one of his many divorces. What? Divorce? OH MY WORD!!!!!! Pat Robertson is supporting a Divorced candidate? Blasphemy!!!!!!
For all those followers of this Vile man, and I’m not talking about Giuliani, how much more Kool-Aid are you going to consume? The very issues that are at the top of the Religious Rights supposed “Values” are the very things that he is now endorsing. Get it yet? You have been DUPED! Just like you were DUPED by W! You have been used and abused to further his hateful and nasty rhetoric only for him to come forward at last and reveal who he really is and what he really stands for. His only concern is MONEY…. Your money! Now get that check in the mail to the PTL club. He needs to send his contribution to the Giuliani campaign.

AR, the fact that Giuliani is on board with
Robertson sours me completely on Giuliani. There's some dirty dealings in the works between those two. Mark my words, those two have come to some sort of compromise that will wind up compromising the entire nation if Guiliani is elected.
Not that I was ever on board with Giuliana or ever would have been. But the stink isn't just coming from Robertson. Giuliani is covered in it, too.

Prior to this fiasco I would have probably hoped that Giuliani got the nomination but now I'm not so sure. He has totally run on the 9-11 thing and in fact those that had to put up with him can't stand him at all. The NYC fire department can't stand the guy and think he is some kind of glory hungry freak! If that be the case him and Robertson teamed would be almost as vile as GWB! NO MORE of that ilk for sure!

when I saw that blip on the news last night! Now, he's not going to be his running mate, is he??? It was so quick what I saw last night - that's what I thought they were saying! God I hope not! Well, more than that, I hope no one votes for him!

Haven't voted for years
and, ya know, the day I turned 18 I registered to vote! It was such a big deal for me then! Of course, then I found out about the electoral college and that was a wrap! I have been feeling compelled to vote in this election, though. AND, for reasons other than voting, I registered (and I believe I still am) in Louisiana. I guess I should register here, as I doubt my New Orleans ballot will find it's way out here!
Ya, I can't explain it. I've felt so strongly about sending a message by NOT voting, but these days have been changing my mind about the whole thing. Oh, and in case you missed my comment on my blog - what can I do to help with the stamp thing? Hell, you might even talk me into helping with Hillary's campaign! I really don't get it - I've been happily disenfranchised for sooooo long! Now, I'm wanting to get involved???? LOL

There is much to be done
All the hands and heads available are needed. The campaign is going great but always needs more help. Stamp thing is pretty much dealing with it where it happens and bringing it up as an opportunity to educate people about civil rights, right to chose and respect of others rights. Pretty scary when I realized my own family is probably some of the worst. Color me shocked!!!
