I am working on some new material about Kellie Pickler. Her music career is going in some interesting and unexpected directions! The professionals associated with the American Idol producers are giving her good choices to make about what television shows to appear on and what musical material to include in her future recordings. I wrote a longer article about Kellie, Click:

Lately, the voting on American Idol has been influenced by websites that are encouraging the television audience to vote for a contestant that, while he has a lot of exhibitionist talent, not a lot of the singing ability that the show gives the participants the opportunity to improve through working with a professional staff of singing coaches and exposure to working before a live studio audience that takes some artists years to achieve.
American Idol has given a lot of young Americans a chance at a career in show business in the last six years, and provided the television audience with a lot of entertainment at a time of year when there is not a lot going on on the networks. (Except for "Deal or No Deal", which is on for too many hours.)
I discovered that New York City is another area of the United States that does not have a "Country Music" radio station. NYC and Lost Angeles are the two big media creative areas and neither one has the truly American music broadcst outlet.
I found another interesting singer with some original songs,
her name is Skyla Spencer and she sings that "If I were rain, falling down, I'd wash away all the pain around."
She also relates what I call a love lost and found story:
"Why do you do this to me? Just when my heart set me free, you walked back into my life"
