American Idol the Fox Television Phenomenon Chord Charts A New Course!
With the return of American Idol auditions thousands of aspiring singers are soon to be joined by songwriters!
Another lyrical competition conceived by that creative genius, Simon Fuller.
I enjoy writing more about singer-songwriters than just "song-stylists" because of the insights they reveal in their song writing. With the release of a succession of albums a longer story can be told than can be conveyed in two-minutes and fifty seconds.
Now Simon Fuller is going to bring the American television audience a songwriting competition, with the finalists being recorded by the American Idol Season Six Finalists.
Update: When this press release came-in to Radio Station KZLAZY, Lost Angeles, we were excited! A chance for unheard songwriters to have a national showcase for their work. But, the producers of American Idol never followed through.
