I am a fun loving guy. Perhaps, in the minds of at least some, a juvenile imp who seems more intent on frolicking along down happy street than to become overly engaged in the very serious international politico-religious situation that prevails these days.

I have recently read a blog where Celebrity Talk reminds the writer that people are here in Blog for many reasons other than engaging in either political debate or (my words) mental masturbation. This is so true. At the same time, it comes as no surprise that a site such as this would express itself as a microcosm of the bigger and badder world that exists outside of here.

I'm thinking of quitting life out there. I think I may be able to make a go of just having a cyber-existence at this point. And, while doing my impster routine, I can revive the court jester archetype that will service the tormented souls and psyches of all those who become so passionate about the killing and hating and starving and blaming and maiming and bombing and mental masturbating and lying and, in essense, seeming unhappy.

So, how many bloggers does it take to come to a reasonable consensus on a hot political issue?

One. But he, she, and all their faux personas have to really want to.

Uh...that was a joke. Court jester, remember?
